Saturn sextile Neptune: Work for your dream!

This continues to be quite a powerful beginning to the year. With no planets retrograde and several planets in their home signs, it is time to get to work and get it done. Events are happening at a rapid pace, and there is still the residual effect of the Eclipses.
 
The Solar Eclipse in Capricorn that occurred on January 5, 2019 at 15 degrees of Capricorn set the tone for the next two years in many regards. Saturn is in its home sign and now entered another decan of Capricorn, which means it is moving ahead in its story and hammering in what it wants you to learn this next few years.
 
Saturn is the ruler of the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn, and it represents authority, structure, limitations, rules, regulations, government, and corporations. Saturn also rules karma, and it provides us with karmic lessons that we may not want; but, lessons we most definitely need sometimes.
I once knew a guy who hated his job and was fighting a lot with his girlfriend. He picked up in the middle of the night and moved to Florida. He called his job from the road that following morning and told them he would not be showing up that day for work. He thought he had left his troubles all behind. He achieved the midnight move, but he still had to face the morning sun. He did not avoid his fate: He just moved it on to another town.
 
I will say this countless times in the next few years, but Saturn is really at the helm of this story line for all of us. Face what you need to face, structure what you need to structure, stop doing what does not work, and focus on what does. It is very unusual to have four planets in their homes signs. It is like driving a car on the highway with a full tank of gas and never having to make a pit stop. Don\’t make pit stops now. Keep driving and work with the cosmos as best as you can.
 
With so many planets in Capricorn in the Solar Eclipse chart that started the year of 2019, the message is about taking accountability. Have integrity and do not call your obligations from the side of the road. All that means is that you really aren\’t at the wheel in the first place.
Last week, the final eclipse occurred at 0 degrees of Leo on January 21, 2019 at 12:16 AM EST. This Solar Eclipse chart was the final eclipse in Leo. The Eclipses series in Leo/Aquarius began on August 18, 2016 and is the final one. The Leo Eclipses were North Node Eclipses, which means that you want to go towards the Leo message, which is do what you love and what makes you shine.
 
This particular Lunar Eclipse was tough because there was an exact Mars/Saturn square that day, and that can be very restrictive and restrained energy. Have you ever had that dream where you are running away from something scary but are only running in place? That is what Mars/Saturn energy can feel like. The last few years, the Eclipse series was in Leo/Aquarius urging each of us to find his or her way to shine. Now is time to be Saturnian about it and shine with structure.
 
Mercury, the planet of communication, networking, and ideas, is now exalted in the fixed air sign of Aquarius, where it is excellent at networking and brainstorming. Mercury meets up with the Sun in Aquarius on January 29, 2019 at 9 degrees of Aquarius, and this can be a very innovative time.
There is a very lucky aspect coming up on January 31, 2019, which has not occurred since 1996. Saturn, the planet of structure, forms a beautiful sextile to Neptune, which represents the dreams. Each will be at 14 degrees. This helps YOU to structure your dreams throughout 2019 with Saturn principles of hard work, structure, and discipline.
 
The amazing part about this combination is that Saturn is in its home sign of Capricorn, and Neptune is in its home sign of Pisces. This really catapults the manifesting potential of this combo. This can bring great spiritual and emotional healing, and it can also bring prosperity from creative and spiritual pursuits.
 
Saturn and Neptune meet up three times this year exactly: January 31, 2019 at 14 degrees of Capricorn and Pisces; June 18, 2019 at 18 degrees; November 8, 2019 at 16 degrees. To have both planets in their home signs really raises the bar and pushes each of us to structure our dreams with hard work and bigger dreams.
Although that is a lovely influence and is one with which we work on and off through the fall, there is some harsh energy building this week. Mars, the planet of combat, is still in its home sign of Aries, which is great for getting things done quickly and with courage. However, it meets up and clashes with Pluto, planet of death and rebirth, on February 1, 2019 at 10:20 pm EST. This can be very angry and combative energy, and it will be palpable before it becomes exact on Friday.
 
We tend to feel the buildup of Mars before it becomes exact, so try to figure what you want to get accomplished, transform, and rebirth. Realistically, there is going to be a lot of contentious energy in the world and in some area of our lives. Try to lay low with that and remind yourself of that energy this week. It is excellent for purging things, as Mars and Pluto both rule the fixed water sign of Scorpio.
 
It is helpful for releasing and cleansing all the emotions that have come up during this portentous Eclipse season. We are building up to a New Moon in Aquarius on February 4, 2019, which will officially end the Eclipse season. Let\’s get through this week first.
