Mercury is in its detriment in Pisces, as it rules the opposite sign of Virgo. 29 degrees of Pisces is a very difficult placement. It is the fixed star known as Scheat. Scheat is associated with misfortune, being lost at sea, shipwrecks, and self undoing. It can make a person feel lost, and it is time to use your tools to center yourself and find peace in the storm.
Chiron, the wounded healer, recently exited the sign of Pisces and was at the last degrees of Pisces for the entire month of January and was at 29 degrees of Pisces from January 28th until February 18th. Chiron initially entered Pisces in March April of 2010 and briefly in spring of 2018.

This Mercury retrograde made me of think of when I was a child, and my mother would put me to sleep each night and tell me of my ongoing adventures with Peter Rabbit and my friends. We would meet in Carl Schultz Park and go down a secret path under the Park where no adults were allowed.
There was a whole secret building under the park just for us. The halls were lined with chocolate, and I got to pick out the dress I would wear each time and what color it would be. My mother would tease me occasionally and pick an outfit that I did not want for that night. I would instantly chime in and order it to be changed. She would laugh and meet my my command, as I had creative control of my journeys with Peter. There were no rules, no limits, and no adults!
This Mercury retrograde will bring up things from your distant past, and it can make you feel like Peter the Rabbit collaborated Willy Wonka. That is the fun part if you allow it. Pisces is a fluid, mutable sign. This is not a time to be rigid. You can have creative control of your imagination and can choose to see the beauty and sweetness in little things. This is a highly sensitive time and likely that there are times where you revert to your inner child. Ask for protection, wonder, and hope.
Now Chiron is at the world axis at 0 degrees of Aries, which is also a critical degree of new beginnings. Planets at the world axis are at 0 degrees of the Cardinal signs and pack a much bigger punch: 0 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. Chiron\’s transit is between 50 and 51 years. The last time it was in Aries was in April of 1968.
Chiron\’s transition from Pisces to Aries has brought huge exits, new beginnings, changes, and critical decisions that needed to be made. The idea of the wounded warrior in a sign that is ruled by Mars makes a lot more sense. It allows each of us to be a warrior in our own emotional battles and fight to heal; rather than sitting without a compass and doing nothing. Chiron remains in Aires through April of 2027.
Uranus is at the last degree of Aries and is very anxious, impatient, and out of order at this degree. It feels like driving without the brakes. We are only days away from Uranus leaving the Mars driven sign of Aries and entering the fixed earth sign of Taurus, where it remains through April of 2026. Uranus enters Taurus on the new moon on March 6, 2019 at 3:26 AM EST.
Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, and it can bring genius and ingenuity to a whole other level. It also can rule chaos, abrupt change, and out-of-the-blue surprises. Uranus has been in Aries on and off since May of 2010, and it is starting a whole new chapter! Uranus in Taurus is about seeking ways to find and create things of value, developing technology to heal the earth, and creating new ways of earning money.
There is a New Moon in Pisces that is full of change and possibility! The New Moon occurs on March 6, 2019 at 11:04 am EST and is 15 degrees and 47 minutes of Pisces. Like last year, Uranus enters Taurus on the day of a New Moon and wants each of us to have real epiphanies and manifest huge changes in our lives.
With Uranus changing signs, there are is a huge shift of change in the air! This New Moon in Pisces is conjunct Neptune within a degree. This is an excellent new moon for manifesting because Neptune represents the dream. Try to meditate and reflect on what you want to create and magnetize in your life. This is also a highly emotional New Moon with Chiron and Uranus changing signs within a few weeks of one another and beginning new cycles.
