Lunar Eclipse in Cancer: Strength through emotions.

These is a huge time in our lives with an unprecedented stellium of Planets in Capricorn and eclipses that invite us to reconstruct and entirely different paradigm. This is a time, where we cannot avoid heavy karmic truths and lessons. This is a time to commit and put the time and effort into what you want to build.

On December 2, 2019, Jupiter entered the Cardinal sign of Capricorn and became the third of outer planets currently occupying Capricorn. Jupiter is in the planet of growth, expansion, and higher learning. It is technically in its fall in Capricorn and expands through patience and a lot of work. Saturn, the natural ruler of Capricorn and planet of karmic lessons, has been in Capricorn since December 20, 2017 and will remain there on and off through December 17, 2020. Pluto, the planet of transformation, death, and rebirth, entered Capricorn in January of 2008 and will remain there through 2024.

Saturn and Pluto are the traditional malefics. Saturn represents challenges, limitations, and heavy karma. Pluto is the planet of death, rebirth, and transformation. The two have not met up together in the sky since November 9, 1982, and that is more than 37 years ago. They have not met up in Capricorn with the South node of karmic release also in Capricorn, as it is now, since 1517.

We ended the year and decade with a South Node Solar Eclipse at 4 degrees of Capricorn. Although a Solar Eclipse is a powerful new beginning; there was an element of releasing and letting go with the South Node of karma. This was an eclipse of initiating new goals, but many transitions and endings in December in so many areas of people\’s lives.

Currently, there are so many planets in the sign of Karmic action, it could have your head spinning. Eclipse season is already a time of heightened and pressured energy, a lot of activity, and a lot of unexpected transitions and revelations. Have a big glass of karmic punch, as you go through these eclipses. Here is the current lineup in the sky in Capricorn: Jupiter, the planet of opportunity and wisdom; the south node of Karma, where we are meant to release; Mercury, the planet of communication and thinking; Saturn, the planet of limitations and structure; Pluto of metamorphosis and power.

Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign and is very action oriented! This is not going to be an easy time for people, as there have been and will continue to be major endings and transition. Some things are dying with Pluto meeting up with Saturn in its home sign. It is time of letting go of some things forever. Add that the South Node is conjunct Jupiter, the biggest planet. This brings a major release and ending. There is optimism with Jupiter, the benevolent planet there. However, it also emphasizes the major endings in our lives where we are making space to magnetize something new.

Mars, the planet of action, energy, passion, sexuality, and anger, entered the mutable sign of Sagittarius on January, 3, 2020.  It will tour through Sagittarius through February 16, 2020.  Mars is Sagittarius is impulsive but also adventurous and curious.  Sagittarius is a very optimisic sign; so, perhaps, it helps bestow some optimism during very fated times where we will all be making major decisions and feel at a crossroads in some way.  This the year to carve a new path.

Capricorn is a sign that represents reputation, achievement, status, responsibility, accountability, integrity, restrictions, structures, and Karma.  With Saturn and Pluto meeting up two days after the Lunar Eclipse and very close together in the Eclipse chart, this is a very charged Lunar Eclipse!

A Lunar Eclipse is a Full moon eclipse that is extra potent because it falls within at least eighteen degrees of the Nodes of fate.  Eclipses are highly impactful for out-of-the-blue reveals, changes, and fated events. The Lunar Eclipse occurs on January 10, 2020 at 2:21 pm EST at 20 degrees of the Cardinal water sign of Cancer.  Cancer is an emotional water sign, which seeks to nurture. This is a North Node Eclipse, which is where we are meant to gravitate.  Self nourishment of soul and body, caring for others, and honoring your emotions during heavy karma.

The Full Moon in Cancer is in its rulership and is such a sensitive and feminine placement of La Luna. The Sun in Capricorn is opposite the Moon by definition at 20 degrees of Capricorn. Mercury, the planet of information, is exactly conjunct the sun and is also at 20 degrees of Capricorn. You can expect more serious reveals and announcements in the next few weeks around changes and revelations with corporations, businesses, and government.

The Full Moon Eclipse falls at 20 degrees of Cancer this opposes and sets off where Saturn originally stationed retrograde on April 30, 2019. You might get more information to move forward with something you were trying to build or master at that time. This degree also sets off where Pluto, the planet of empowerment and endings, stationed direct on September 18, 2019. Perhaps, you are bringing something forward with projects and situations you were in at that time period.

If you have planets or angles between 18 degrees and 22 degrees of the Cardinal signs you will feel this Lunar eclipse the most. The Cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. Look to where 20 degrees of Cancer falls, as this is where a manifestation of and and a release is at play.

Use this Lunar Eclipse to nurture yourself and mother yourself during a time where there will be life changing events and decisions. Uranus, the great awakener, stations direct on the very day of The Lunar Eclipse Eclipse. Uranus stops and stations direct at 8:49 pm EST at 2 degrees of Taurus. This is going to make this eclipse even more intense, unpredictable, and informative!

Uranus is the planet of surprises and the unexpected. Things can change in a flash with Uranus, and it can promote brilliant thoughts. Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury; therefore, with Mercury conjunct the Sun in the Solar Eclipse and Uranus direct, there will be much waking up for us on the collective and in our own lives.

Saturn and Pluto meet up on January 12, 2020 at 22 degrees of the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn. This a new story of purging what keeps you from building the life you want to manifest and launch. If you are at a crossroads, it is time to make a decision of what you want to plan, and there direction where you want to go. Very karmic responsibilities, decisions, and actions this month and year.

If you are in line with your integrity and hard work, you can build an amazing new future. Are you empowering yourself with truth and honor? You co-create with this energy. What do you wish to release, and what do you wish to construct?
