Pluto in Aquarius: Ascend the world!

Pluto, the cosmic compost, entered the fixed air sign of Aquarius at 8:13 am EST, and my toilet exploded a few hours later! While the big news of the day was not that I had a 30 minute inconvenience, it does show how beautifully or how sometimes not so beautilly, Astrology translates the planet’s current stories. In my case, Pluto wanted to prove a point that change is in the air!

Pluto entered the cardinal earth sign of Capricorn on January 27, 2008, where it has been transiting on and off for the past fifteen years. Capricorn represents corporations, big businessess, people in authority, social status, structures, traditions, rules, and regulations.

When Pluto initially entered Capricorn, it came to the world point, which is at 0 degrees of the cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. Pluto in Capricorn began with a global housing crisis, the corporate world has changed tremendously in the past fifteen years!

Saturn, the planet of karmic lessons, restrictions, and responsibility, met up with Pluto at 22 degrees of Capricorn on January 12, 2020, which is also the world point when planets transit at 22 degrees of the cardinal signs. Pluto is the planet of power, death, regeneration, big money, has not been at 0 degrees of Aquarius for approximately 247 years!

Drum roll, please! Pluto got demoted to being a dwarf planet, but it packs a hell of a punch, which will knock you off of your socks. Pluto, entered the sign of Aquarius on March 23, 2023 at the sign of community, the collective, ascension, friends, groups, enlightenment, and pure brilliance.

Pluto used to transit approximately three degrees per year; but, it has slowed down to two degrees per year. This month has already been bursting with change; but, its rippling effects with shift our collective consciousness for the next 21 years! Pluto finally exists Aquarius in January of 2044. Oh, boy!

If you think back to when Saturn entered Aquarius this past round, it did so briefly from 3/23/20 through 7/1/20, which is just about the time we implemented “social distancing” during the beginning/height of the pandemic.

Saturn returned to the sign of Capricorn to reinforce all of the collective karma of structures that no longer serve us, and there was permanent change! Pluto is the planet of death. There was mass death of human life, dreams, businesses, and neighborhoods that are no longer. The Saturn/Pluto combo pummeled our world and broke our hearts. We will never be the same. However, change is in the world in an immense and powerful way, and we move ahead!

Saturn, the planet of structure, recently entered the sign of the unstructured: Pisces. Pisces on the higher form is the empath, the artist, the private philanthropist, musician, magician, and cosmic wizard! Pisces on the more challenging front represents escapism, addiction, delusion, deception, and slothfulness.

Saturn transits in Pisces through February 15, 2026. I have said countless times and will say ad nauseum that this is a huge focus on mental health and addiction. As Pluto plummets on board the futuristic, chaotic, and Infinite Airlines, we soar to places we never could have envisioned. Saturn in Pisces focuses on the lost souls that need connection and cannot be lost further in the digital waves of the Aquarian drum beat.

We need organic waves, so that we can swim together as a community. You could swim virtually, and that will become easier; but, the alienation accompanies that and accelerates just as quickly as the technology. Remember that. The alienation accelerates just as quickly as the technoloy. Aquarius represents networking and groups. In modern times, it represents social media and technology. In the past few years, we have seen how the internet and social media can alienate us and be very damaging to mental health. Do not forgot the forgotten. They need you, and they can so easily get lost in the digital shuffle.

What does all of this mean for you? Pluto sets off the upcoming Eclipse that occurs on April 20, 2023 at 29 degrees and 50 minutes of Aries. This is technically the second New Moon in Aries of the month; albeit a New Moon on steroids! However, it is also the beginning of the Eclipses in the Aries/Libra Axis. I feel this is is an Aries/Taurus Eclipse. It is just 10 minutes away from the fixed earth sign of Taurus, where Uranus, the omdern ruler of Aquarius, has been transiting on and off since May 15, 2018.

Pluto in Aquarius squares this New moon. It says with beginnings come endings. With life comes loss. I had such high hopes for the New Age of Aquarius, which really began on December 20, 2020 when Saturn (the structure) met up with Jupiter (the vision) at 0 degrees of Aquarius right on the Winter Solstice. 0 is the first degree of a sign, and it represents promise and new beginnings. In Aquarius, it was to me a promise of communing in a time of chaos.

It has been a rough route because both of the rulers of Aquarius clashed three times in the sky: Saturn, the ancient ruler of Aquarius; Uranus, the modern ruler. Saturn is rigid, and Uranus is a tornado; therefore, the two energies did not streamline well together.

Pluto, the planet of evolution, now speaks back to that cosmic pairing, in which Saturn and Jupiter met up the closest they had been in the sky for over 800 years. How do we evolve real connection when we ourselves become more alien as well as as alienated. ChatGPt and AI are all trends that are just getting started! For people in the tech world, it is like a candy store. For creatives and for most people, it is frightening to realize how replaceable we can be.

Yet, Saturn in Pisces is about structuring dreams and focusing on the arts. You could create some sort of symphyony on AI, but it will lack the soul that Saturn in Pisces demands. The arts come from within the hearts, and that is our focus. We use technology to teach and find ways to innovate magic and create new jobs in a time where many are getting destroyed. Yet, the focus is on the soul. Please do not forget!

I still feel a musical, aristic, and creative revolution! I feel there is an intellectual revolution! I feel we will be wading in sad seas for a long time yet. Focus on meditation and prayer. Surrender to the daily fears, as you ground yourself in a period where there is a lot of surrounding mood from the drowning tears. You can plant flowers.

You can imagine communities of love that are possible. Is it the Fool Card with Pluto in Aquarius, where there are many different routes yet pursued full of unexpected adventure. Or, do you choose the Tower card of chaos? At times, it is your choice. At times, it is your faith or belief in something beautiful that guides you through your journey.

With Saturn in Pisces, none of us is steering the ship; but, your imagination, meditation, dreams, spirituality, love, and kindness will ground you. #zodiacas much as much as anything right now. This is just WOW to me, and wait to see how WOW it is to you, too! 🙂 #astrology #horoscope #zodiac
