Equinox of Balance and Love in the Cosmic Storm

Today is the day of the Equinox, which is one of two times of the year when the sun crosses the celestial equator. The day is approximately equal day and equal night. In this case, the Sun enters the Cardinal air sign of Libra. When the Sun enters 0 degrees of the Cardinal signs, it initiates a season of new beginnings. Libra is a sign that is centered relationships, harmony, and balance. Today’s Equinox occurs at 9:04 pm EDT.
The Equinox is an excellent opportunity to assess the season ahead and how to work with it best. In the Northern Hemisphere, it is the beginning of the Fall season. In the Southern Hemisphere, it is the beginning of the Spring season.
The Moon in Leo went void earlier this morning at 7:07 am EDT with an opposition to Saturn, the planet of blocks and delays. The moon is void all day until early in the morning on the 23rd, so it can feel like there are delays in getting this season going! It is not surprising because when the moon is void, things can get canceled, rescheduled, or delayed. It is like a mini mercury retrograde.
There are currently six planets retrograde, which is very unusual. One of which is Mercury, the planet of communication, transportation, and learning. Mars, the planet of action, is currently in its shadow in the mutable air sign of Gemini, which is also ruled by the planet Mercury. Mars is slowing down a lot and will retrograde on October 30, 2022 at 25 degrees and 37 minutes of Gemini with a confusing square to Neptune.
With all of this said, the Equinox is a big opportunity to reconsider and reapply your learning, how you connect with others, and how you partner with your community and with your mind.
I cast the chart for Washington DC, and the chart has Taurus Ascendant approximately at 17 degrees of Taurus. Uranus, the planet of the unexpected, unusual, chaos, and enlightenment is within a degree of the Ascendant.
The North Node of Karma is still only within two degrees of Uranus inviting all of us to get out of comfort zone and innovate new security, skills, resources, and beauty. What may have been completely out of orbit or foreign to you at one time may very well be what you now call home.
Uranus does not like being in Taurus, as Taurus is a very fixed sign that is resistant to change. Time to turn and face the strange. Listen to David Bowie sing into your ear. As much as we are in the New Age of Aquarius, I feel the Uranus/North Node pairing in Taurus has brought this era of constant chaos to a whole other level. If we can strive to see the beauty in the change and face what we need to do to embrace the changes, we will ascend!
Venus, which rules the Equinox chart is currently at its fall position in Virgo. It makes a beautiful angle to Uranus, the planet of invention; as well as the Ascendant, angle of self. Venus also forms a beautiful trine to Pluto, the planet of transformation and empowerment, and this is a lucky flow of compatibility between the two planets.

A potent new moon that wants you to dream! The Sun and Moon are close to the world point and to the Equinox. Venus, Mercury, the Sun, and Moon all fall in the seventh house of relationships. There is an initiating energy around partnerships.
Keep in mind that Mercury initially retrograded on September 9th at 8 degrees of Libra, so partnships have been the theme since the beginning of Mercury retrograde. Venus rules the New Moon in Libra. It is still in beautiful harmony with both Uranus and Pluto showing that change and upleveling of love and value are the theme.
Venus still opposes Neptune and asks you to dismiss your fears and love without limits in a world that craves connection. Some relationships will not stand the test of this fall. Some will deepen and connect further. You have to risk to gain. The heart is fragile, but you already knew that. Neptune is the ruler of this New Moon chart and asks you again to remember the dream(s).
The New Moon is an excellent time to planet new seeds and focus on goals you wish to launch. Relationship goals of many kinds are appropriate for this Libra season of love. The New Moon is an excellent time to do the Law of Abundance to magnetize opportunities, open windows, and bring in all forms of abundance.
