Venus Starpoint: The Heart is a lonely hunter

This is an article I need to write for so many reasons. The past nine months have been very karmic, difficult, and beautiful at once. Pisces is a sign of loss and dreams. It represents the saints and the sinners. It is a sign of dreams, imagination, intuition, sensitivity, empathy, selfless love, and creative magic. It is also a sign of delusion, deception, addiction, imprisonment, institutions, loss, and self-undoing.
I have lived both the preview and the early story of Saturn in Pisces so much in this past nine months that I have been unable to deliver writing and content the way that you deserve; the way that I deserve.
Last fall, Jupiter was transiting at the last degrees of Pisces, which are the final degrees of the Zodiac. Jupiter is the Grand Benefic that invites you to believe in hope and manifest with optimism and a quest for knowledge. Yet, it expands whatever it touches, and it can expand the suffering and uncertainty. The final degrees of the Zodiac encapsulate the entire journey through the Zodiac with all of its lessons.
Saturn, the karmic taskmaster, entered the mutable water sign of Pisces on March 7, 2023, where it will be on tour on and off through February 15, 2025. Saturn in Pisces navigates tentatives seas that connect lost souls on a journey of mourning, recovery, and creative endeavors. There will be some that will find it close to impossible to recover, and it is up to the empaths, artists, musicians, and magicians to come forward and bring awareness to mental health and addiction.
On the highest level, Pisces is the artist that paints a mural of hope; the musician who sings your song. We all need to heal together. That is a theme of Saturn in Pisces, as our souls are intertwined. Nor you or I can do it alone. The collective structures are mutable and need reinforcement and support.
Now, let’s get both to the fire and the magic in the sky! Venus entered the fixed fire sign of Leo on May 21, 2023, where it will luxuriate through October 8, 2023. Venus in Leo wants to celebrate, create, love, and shine!
Venus is the planet of love, value, money, creativity, kindness, and happiness. Venus is one of the benefics of the Zodiac. While it is happiest in Libra, Taurus, or Pisces, it also loves to be in Leo, where it likes to have some fun and dazzle like a star! You know who you are.
Venus retrogrades only once every eighteen months. It retrogaded at the Royal Fixed Star known as Regulus, which is the King Maker and the Queen Maker. It brings out the inner star within each of us. Regulus occurred in the 20th century at 28 degrees and 43 minutes of Leo to 29 degrees and 50 minutes of Leo. I consider people that have planets or angles between 27 to 29 degrees of Leo at Regulus.
By precession, Regulus entered 0 degrees of Virgo on November 28, 2011 and is now also considered part of this Royal Fixed Star. Find where the late degrees of Leo and first degree of Virgo fall in your chart. That is where you tap into the lion’s heart. The lion symbolizes courage, power, and leadership.
There has been a lot of fire in the sky, and we can see it play out in very sad ways such as the case with Maui and the deadliest fire in one hundred years. Hawaii is such a beautiful and spiritual place that I visited only once at the age of twelve; but, I remember Maui like yesterday and the magical beauty of the people, the ocean, the palm trees, and the feeling i felt. At the age of twelve, I felt like a Queen in paradise. My heart goes out to the people of Hawaii and all of their loved ones and pets.
At this moment, I am looking right at the heart of a Lion: my beautiful seventeen year old cat Billy. He has been declining a lot since the Supermoon in Aquarius on August 1st, and he will let me know his journey soon. My heart is full, but Billy has watched over me for a long time and has chosen to be there for me through many difficult times; as well as joyful ones. He has been a guiding light. My friend once dreamt that Billy was on a flying magic carpet, and I think he has been skyrocketing on that magic carpet for years with all of the magic he sprinkles in so many lives.
Pluto recently squared the Nodes of Fate three times in the month of July. Critical changes have occurred, decisions have been made, and people and animals have experienced many departures of various forms.
Venus met up with the Sun at an inferior conjunction on August 13, 2023 at 7:15 am EDT at 20 degrees and 28 minutes of Leo. This occurs every eight years when Venus is retrograde, and Venus is tucked in between the Earth and the Sun in Leo.
This is a new eight year cycle of what you want to magnetize into your life to make fill your heart with passion and joy! It is like a new moon centered on Venusian themes of value, happiness, kindness, children, creativity, and love, love, love!
Venus retrogrades in five signs throughout our lifetime — every eight years. It forms a five pointed star. Venus is retrograde in this new eight year story, and it is a time to search within as to how you can uplevel what you want to create, what you want to draw into your life, and what you want to give your heart.
When the Venus starpoint formed on August 13th, the Sun was in its dignity while in Leo, and the Moon was in its dignity while in Cancer. This is phenomenal energy for manifesting something really big into your life.
The Sun squares Uranus, the planet of awakening and chaos, on 8/15/2023 at 10:35 pm EDT, and you can feel the jolt, excitement, and illuminating answers occur starting on Monday. This precedes an exciting New Moon in Leo that has the Venus starpoint strong in tact.
The New Moon in Leo occurs on 8/16/2023 at 5:38 am EDT at 23 degrees and 17 minutes of Leo. Venus and the Sun are still in a romantic and creative partnership. The sun in its dignity. This is a time to dream and fall back on the Pisces story.
I cast the New Moon chart for Washington DC, and it has Leo rising, which is ruled by the Sun. There is a stellium of Leo in the first house: Venus, the Sun, and the Moon in Leo.
There is a lot of fire and earth in this chart that has a little water as well. There are no planets in air, and the only thing in air is the South Node in Libra, which we are meant to release or master. Reconnecting to patterns we want to transform or release as how to we interface with others. There is really no air or detached logic; so, do not expect Dr. Spock to surface with solutions.
There is both a Grand trine in Earth that is part of a Kite. The Grand Trine involves Mars, the planet of action, which is the ruler of the North Node of Destiny, which is currently transiting in the fiery sign of Aries; Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth, which is transiting at the final degrees of Capricorn and collapsing old structures in our universe; Uranus, the planet of surprise, ingenuity, and chaos, which is in its detriment in Taurus, which seeks stability that Uranus cannot provide. However, there is an awakening as to how you can be resourceful and creative with what you have.
The Kite brings an interesting dimension because it involves Neptune in its rulership in Pisces at the 27 degrees and 8 minutes of Pisces. Neptune opposes Mars, which is part of the Grand Trine. It can dampen your efforts, or it can fuel your dreams to take action in practical and helpful ways. Mars also forms a very helpful and facilitating aspect to Uranus, the planet of ingenuity, less than four hours after this New Moon occurs. This is amazing manifesting energy. Do the Law of Abundance. Write down your intentions. Journal what you want. This is a magical cosmic pairing in light of a current world of adversity.
Being of service is part of this story, as much as Leo and Aries want to focus on self. Remember what I said about the Saturn in Pisces story. The more you integrate that theme of being of help to others as you launch your own passions, the more rewarding the process. Not because you are doing it to get what you want; because you want to give just to give. That truly is the meaning of the king maker and the queen maker. Hawaii needs your help.
