Venus and Mars — Help me find my inner muse?

Hi, Everyone, This is a tough article to write. I have been in a form of career crisis for a while. I have lost my creativity and passion. I have thought of walking away from astrology altogether, but I know this is just a lull. I imagine many of you feel the same. While we are in a time of infinite invention and possibility in the New Age of Aquarius, it feels so caged, confining, and catastrophic at times. We began this year with a HUGE Venus retrograde, and it still has not cleared its shadow. On December 19, 2021, Venus retrograded at 26 degrees and 29 minutes of the Cardinal sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is a sign that is ruled by Saturn, the cosmic taskmaster that insists you be held accountable for your choices and decisions. Pluto represents toxicity, purging, death, renewal, and evolution. Venus is a personal planet that takes 225 days to orbit the sun. Venus and Mars are the only personal planets that do not retrograde annually. Venus retrogrades once every eighteen months for forty days, and it is a time of intensive reflection around all things Venusian: Femininity, love, money, creativity, beauty, elegance, and kindness. When Venus retrogrades, it is not an ideal time to begin a financial relationship nor is it ideal to get married. People you meet may be off in some way. There can also be a very karmic connection when people meet under Venus retrograde.

Venus has already met up with Pluto two times in the sky: December 19, 2021 at 25 degrees and 19 minutes of Capricorn; December 25, 2021 at 25 degrees and 43 minutes of Capricorn. This is not easy. This is taking a nose dive into the depths of pain, loss, depression, and endings. There has been great loss since Eclipse season in late November/early December. Venus entered Capricorn on November 5th, 2021 and will tour through Capricorn until March 6, 2022, which is approximately four months in total.

This is finding the strength within yourself in a time where you see your cup as half empty. In reality, it might be for now. This can change, but when there is such strong Capricornian influence, it is essential to take note of what is and is not working in your life. The other introspective tone that began this year is that Mercury, which is also a personal planet, retrograded on January 14, 2022 at 10 degrees and 20 minutes of Aquarius and stationed direct on February 3 at 24 degrees and 22 minutes of Capricorn.

This replays the first year of The New Age of Aquarius, so you can determine how you expand your skills and morph to an increased digital age beyond that in which we already engaged, which is both alienating and inclusive at the same time. Genius will soar. You will see. Right now, the turbulence, fear, and loss are so damn immense. It is okay to grieve. In fact, it is essential.

When Mercury stationed direct on February 3, 2022, it did so at the degree where Pluto was transiting this past couple of years. More reflection on what you to eliminate in your life? How do you take action through your thoughts, ideas, and learning to empower yourself? How do you eliminate toxic patterns that keep you from constructing something meaningful?

Mercury re-entered the fixed air sign of Aquarius on February 14, 2022 at 4:45 pm EST where it will transit through March 9, 2022. Mercury is exalted and erudite while in Aquarius. Although I am not a trekkie by any means, you can expect a lot of Aquarian and Uranian energy associated with that enterprise. Go where no wo(man) has gone before! This is certainly possible for all right now, but it certainly has not felt so for me in recent time. How many of you feel the same way? I speak to many of you each week, and I know.

I try to be your cosmic cheerleader to my best ability, but this feels very sad to me. I almost walked away from doing Astrology because my heart is broken like so many of yours. The other day, I was two steps away from deleting my channel. Yet, I know I have to keep going. Saturn is still at the helm — lest we forget. Saturn rules Capricorn, where Venus, Mars, and Pluto are still transiting. Saturn also rules Aquarius in ancient Astrology.

I want to remind both myself and you that there is still so magic out there. We cannot give up on things that do mean something to ourselves and to the collective. In fact, it is more essential than ever to keep going. Saturn can be that annoying math teacher in eighth grade that you know does not like you; but, you can also get her back and score 98 percent on your final exam. That’s what I did at the time! That day, she actually smiled. She also got me to learn.

We are building up to a magical Full Moon, and I can say I do feel quite a transition from yesterday. Mercury is now inventive, social, and curious while in Aquarius. It is also not as strict or demanding. Venus and Mars have been transiting together since the end of January; but, their magic felt faint. Although Venus is still having therapy sessions with Pluto, she gets to tango with Mars for some inspiration, fun, and passion!

Venus and Mars will dance together until April 4, 2022. They first met up on July 13, 2021 at 19 degrees and 48 minutes of the Fixed Fire sign of Leo, which rules the heart chakra. They meet up a second time tomorrow on February 16, 2022 at 9:29 am EST at 16 degrees and 53 minutes of the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn. In our lifetime Venus retrogrades in five signs. In some cases, it will retrograde back to the late degrees of the previous sign.

Venus retrogrades in Capricorn every eight years. Venus and Mars usually meet up once every year for approximately ten days. This round, they are dancing for two months. They met up last summer, and they will form a third and final conjunction on March 6, 2022 at 0 degrees of Aquarius, which is the degree that began the New Age of Aquarius on 12/20/20. Mars will first meet up with Pluto on March 3, 2022 at 27 degrees and 50 minutes of Capricorn.

Venus follows suit and meets up with the cosmic purger on the very same day at 12:56 PM EST. This can be very sexy energy! It can also bring big reveals with money and sex scandals. Major endings and intensity on that day! It could also be a passionate first date!

On March 5th and March 6th, Venus and Mars will have a sexy affair and transition to the cerebral and social side when they meet up officially at the very first degree of Aquarius, which is where Saturn and Jupiter met up on the Winter Solstice in 2020. Saturn is the planet of karma, responsibility, and restrictions. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, vision, and hope.

Saturn and Jupiter meet up every twenty years, and they met up closest in the sky in over eight hundred years in the element of Air to initiate a new twenty year vision at the very first degree of Aquarius. Venus and Mars will trigger this point in early March and remind us to still hold a vision. As we re-calibrate our cosmic and literal direction, it is time to muster the magic that the two planets of desire can paint for each and every one of us. We just need to pick up the paint brushes and paint with them!

The Full Moon occurs on February 16, 2022 at 27 degrees and 29 minutes of the fixed fire sign of Leo. This is right at the Royal Fixed star of Regulus, which is the king maker and the queen maker. Be what you want to be! Leo rules the heart. It is a sign that likes to have fun and express itself! This Full Moon also sets of the Total Solar Eclipse that occurred on August 21, 2017 and was visible in most parts of the United States. What did you try to invoke at that time? Call to your heart.

I cast the Full Moon chart for Washington DC, and the ascendant is 27 degrees of Aries. Mars rules the chart and is conjunct Venus at 16 degrees and 53 minutes of Capricorn, which sets off the Venus starpoint that occurred on January 8, 2022 at 18 degrees of Capricorn. The Full Moon is a time of culmination, release, and letting go. This Full Moon has so much promise with Mars and Mercury both in their exaltation and so strong. Venus and Mars deliver a jolt of energy of passion that hopefully rocks your world or gets the process going. #astrology #horoscope #venusandmarsfulfillmystars #zodiacsigns #love
