Hi, Everyone,
This is a tough one to write, and I never write this late in the day; but, it is one I need to do. This is like Full Moon in Capricorn, where you have a sense of responsibility, and I cannot let this one down in spite of my weariness. Let me break down the energy to the best of my ability. Neptune, the planet of dreams, imagination, the unconscious mind, escapism, delusion, deception, and creativity, entered the final degree of the Zodiac, which is at 29 degrees of Pisces, where it will transit through 9/4/24 and on and off next year.
This is a very tough degree of the Zodiac, where people feel lost, confused, exchasted, drained, unsure, and without a compass. Many, who have been sick for a while and barely hanging on to this life will choose to exit. There will be mass exits. For those struggling with mental health and addiction, this is a very troublesome transit, where they may want to tune out much more. Check in with people that are struggling. This is very sensitive energy indeed, and some will need extra care.
We have our upcoming second Full Moon in Capricorn that takes place on July 21, 2024 at 6:17 am EST at 29 degrees and 9 minutes of Capricorn. This is a WOPPER of a FULL MOON, and I feel it through every pore of my being. How about you?
The First Full Moon occurred on June 21, 2024 at 1 degree and 9 minutes of Capricorn, and that Full Moon called back to when Pluto was transiting at 1 degree of Capricorn early in the Pluto in Capricorn story that began in 2008/2009. When Pluto intially entered Capricorn, it was the time of the housing crisis, the Bernie Madoff scandal, and permanent change of Financial institutions and the corporate world.
Pluto is the higher Octave of Mars, and it packs a hell of a punch. Pluto is the planet of death, rebirth, destruction, renewal, empowerment, misuse of money and manipulation, big finances, and other people’s money and joint resources.
When Pluto initially entered Capricorn in 2008 and 2009, Pluto transited at the world axis, which hits people on the world stage, as well as the entire collective. When Pluto transited at 0 degrees of Capricorn on and off in 2008 and 2009, the world experienced a Global Financial crisis. Brokerage firms like Lehman Brothers, Bear Sterns, and Merrill Lynch got hit massively, and there was a huge restructuring in the economy. More of an accountability of right and wrong, and a big recession to follow.
For the Cardinal signs, 0 and 22 degree are at the world axis and are a degree of fame. The Cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. The Fixed signs are 15 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Capricorn. The Mutable signs are at 7 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. If a person has a lot of planets or angles at the world point, they can be well known or even famous. If outer planets transit at the world point, big world events occur.
Saturn is the cosmic architect of the Zodiac, that works from a blueprint to help you assemble your plans and goals with hard work, focus, and determination. Saturn is the planet of karma, responsibility, restrictions, structures, limitations, integrity, time, and goals. Saturn rules the sign of Capricorn in Modern Astrology and Aquarius in Ancient Astrololgy. Saturn transited in the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn from December 20, 2017 through December 17, 2020. Saturn represents our karmic lessons, challenges, a sense of feeling pressured, how we can mature and anchor our achievements, and we how we develop integrity.
Saturn met up with Pluto, the cosmic compost, on January 12, 2020 at the world point at 22 degrees of the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn. This cosmic cycle happens approximately every 37 years when the two traditional Malefics — Saturn and Pluto — meet up together for a whole new story. This round in January of 2020, the two malefics met up at the world degree at 22 degrees of Capricorn and brought down permant change in structures in our world, mass death of life, old businesses, and ways of doing things. The world will never be the same again. This cycle also changed the way we do business forever.
Pluto, the planet of transformation, initially entered the Fixed air sign of Aquarius, on March 23, 2023 through June 13, 2023 and returned to the sign of Aquarius on January 20, 2024. Pluto, the planet of demolition and regeneration, retrograded on May 2, 2024 at 2 degrees of Aquarius and will have its final duel in Capricorn when it returns to this sign on September 1, 2024 through November 19, 2024.
Pluto transits this fall at an anaretic degree, which is the final degree of a sign. There are 30 degrees to a sign; 0 is the first degree, and 29 is the final degree of that sign. The anaretic or final degre of a sign help us to master the lessons of that sign, and this will be an intense round!
Capricorn reprents people in power, authority and leadership. It is the teacher, the CEO, the CFO, world leaders, and people that goven the law. The sign of Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, which is the planet of integrity. With Pluto transiting at this final degree, there will be many that will be held accountable both on the world stage and in our own personal lives, we are all being held accountable in some area. There will be big changes in corporate and government structures, layoffs, and a lot of unhealed pain dug up on a mass level: Collateral damage from centuries and years of unhealed trauma.
 
An anaretic degree is a degree of completion, endings, and mastery. Pluto transits returns to 29 degrees and 59 minutes of Capricorn on September 1, 2024, stations direct on October 12,2024 at 29 degrees and 38 minutes of Capricorn and returns to the fixed and futuristic sign of Aquarius, where it’s going tour with Keith Richards on and off through January of 2044. Pluto is a planet that teaches you that there are things you can control, and there are many things that you cannot. There is a collective release and letting go in all of this.
This weekend, we build up to this dramatic and powerful Full Moon. Mars, the ruler of Aries and co-ruler of Scorpio, enters the Mutable air sign of Gemini on July 20, 2024 at 4:43 pm EST, where it transits through September 4, 2024. When Mars transits in Gemini, this is an excellent time for multitasking and get a lot of chores completed in a short period of time. It is excellent for engaging and working with local businesses and doing events, networking, taking and teaching workshops, learning, speaking at events, and doing a lot in little bursts of time. It certainly changes the scene from Mars transiting in its detriment while sluggish in Taurus, where it is wrapping up as I write.
The Full Moon is the biggest one of the year aside from the Eclipses because it is the second Full Moon in Capricorn this summer. More importantly, it is a foreshadowing of Pluto’s final transit in Capricorn, in which many things will come down in the world and in our lives. What do you need to purge? What have you not faced?
While Neptune is in LA LA land (where I will be next month!), this second Full Moon in Capricorn asks what are you made of, and what are you going to do about it? This Full Moon occurs at 6:17 pm EST at 29 degrees and 9 minutes of Capricorn. In the Full Moon chart, the Full Moon in Capricorn is at an anaretic degree urging you and demanding you to wrap up the lessons of the past 15/16 years when Pluto initially entered Capricorn.
 
This Full Moon is a the final degree of Capricorn; but, it is also conjunct Pluto, the planet of endings and beginings, which is at 0 degrees and 54 minutes of Aquarius. You need to purge the past to make room for Pluto in Aquarius, which centers on embracing the future and limitless possibilities for genius, invention, and reinvention. On the world stage, we can expect this to express itself politically throughout the world, and there could be various shifts occuring.
This is deeper, though. What or to whom are you saying goodbye? For me, it is my 97 year old Swami. I never write late in the afternoon or early at night because I feel so much more inspired in the morning with my caffeine and a stream of light pouring through my half drawn curtains.
I said my official goodbye to Swami last Monday, but his strong Taurus constitution keeps going a little while longer. We know that it is not much longer. This is painful to write, as my best friend will lose one of his best friends in the world. It is time for him to release him even though it is really painful.
When I saw Swami, he poked me in the hard in the side with that strong Bull consistution and said, “Eat this for you? If I eat, I’m going to eat for me. Have some compassion!” Swami is right. He has lived and earned his right to leave. He is a creative genius and embodies many qualities both of Neptune and Pisces. Undoubtededly, he has Pisces rising, with his absent minded Professor demeanor, flat feet, and prescient sense of musical genius. He is also psychic.
It is for me to face Pluto and let go. It is out of my control. He is not a tragedy; he has lived a long life. But, it is still one of my favorite people I will ever, ever meet, and I have to say goodbye. This is not about me, and that is why I need to relent and give up control. This Full Moon chart is conjunct Pluto, which means for some of us that we really need to let go of control. We need to accept. 
 
There will also be information uncovered that will be very emotional; as well as unexected. Mercury, the planet of information, later forms a challenging influence to Uranus, which is the modern ruler of Aquarius. Uranus is also the higher Octave of Mercury. This is great energy for brainstorming on your feet; but, it will involve twists and turns, changes in plans, big shocks and surprises. Expect the unexpeced. There will be major breakups, layoffs, endings, and CHANGE will this second Full Moon in Capricorn aligned with Pluto.
This is a preview of Pluto’s Last Dance in Capricorn. Not for the light hearted, but the truth is you need to face what lies ahead of you. You can tune out like I have for the past few weeks with a bad back and in pre-emptive mourning, or you can tap into magic and do things you need to do, as Capricorn focuses on your responsibilities. What do you need to accomplish?
Do you want to lie on your back and feel sorry for yourself before the energy gets more chaotic in August, or do you want to focus on what you need to get done?! I would hope the latter because it has been a miserable few weeks for this member of the Neptune Dodgers. I kept hitting strikes one after the other.
This chart has magic, and that is why I do this for Swami. Swami is a genius, and he is a visionary. Music is Swami’s elixir. Venus, the planet of love, forms a beautiful and enabling aspect to Jupiter, the Grand Benefic, planet of expansion, hope, and optimism. These are the two benefics in harmony, which reminds me of my Taurus Swami cutting up melon and enjoying every last bite as music gushes out of every corner of his place and a copy of the Sunday New York Times spread out around his living room in different areas of the room.
This aspect says that although there is no denying the reality and truth, why not enjoy nature’s bites and realize that some of these tough times will pass. Heed the lessons, but there are solutions with Mars in Gemini, as there are different routes and lanes in which you can now take action.
The Moon is part of a Grand Trine, which is a triangle in which each point is 120 degrees from the other. The Moon in Capricorn forms a beautiful trine to Uranus, the planet of breakthroughs and enlightenment, and the two trine Juno, which is an asteroid that represents partnerships. Getting work done by partnering with people smarter than you is always a good idea to learn and elevate your game!
Venus and Jupiter dance in harmony at 4:43 pm EST, which is a helpful energy after the fated meetup with Pluto and the Full Moon in Capricorn. Mercury and Uranus spar at 6:21 pm EST, which is exciting, chaotic, thrilling, and disruptive on the road. It could be a great exchange of ideas and add to the creativitity; but, shocking news will come out in some way this weekend. The Full Moon gets a supportive sextile from Neptune, which is soothing and helps you to connect the dream to the goal. However, Neptune is absolutely exhausted, and it is hard to focus with this heaviness. There is a need to sleep and sleep more.
The Sun in Cancer is all about emotions and feelings — processing the informations through how you feel about it. The Sun remains in Cancer through July 22, 2024; but, before it leaves, it forms a beautiful trine to Neptune at 11:25 pm EST. Soon after, Mars in Gemini forms a beautiful angle to Pluto in Aquarius, and this trine helps to facillitate empowering yourself through ascending through intellectual aviation. This aspect occurs at 11:48 pm PST and on July 23, 2024 at 2:48 am EST. There are options and choices, and it is time to face the right choices that propel your forward.

Summer Solstice: Stand still in LOVE revisited

Hi, Everyone,

The Solstice occurs today at 4:51 pm EST, which is one of two points on the Ecliptic when the Sun is farthest North or South.  In the Northern Hemisphere, the Summer Solstice occurs when the Sun reaches its maximum height and stops to stand still to assess what we have built and experienced since the last Solstice in December, and the promise of the next six months ahead of us.

The Solstice chart represents what the summer season holds for us and is a time to honor the energy, and what you want to accomplish.  There has been a huge Gemini influence recently, and it has felt too scattered, rushed, and overwhelming.   The New Moon in Gemini had five points in the sign of Gemini, and your mind can go in many different directions and have trouble focusing.  It felt almost like Mercury in Retrograde in that there were so many conversations, but who was really listening?  

On June 17th, two personal planets segued into Cancer from Gemini and slowed the pace for all of us, so that we can recharge.  The theme is more centered on home,family, comfort, self care,soul nurturing, and nourishment. The theme of Gemini is learning, socializing, connecting, networking, and getting involved with local environemnt.  Cancer is much more concerned with self care, enjoying the pleasures of home, curling up with a good book under the covers, enjoying a nourishing meal with people you love, and resting and binging on a good series on Netflix. 

Mercury, the planet of communication, learning, thoughts, and ideas, left the sign of Gemini on June 17th and will tour in the emotional water sign of Cancer through July 2, 2024. Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and value, also entered the Cardinal water sign of Cancer on June 17th and will hang out in this sign through July 11, 2024. Jupiter, the Grand Benefic, transits in Gemini through June of next year; therefore, we call continue to expand through learning, connecting, socializing, and getting involved locally.  However, you should not feel pressured if you do not feel like doing it this weekend or in the next week.  This is a time to focus on self.

This morning, the Sun in Gemini made a challenging square to Neptune in Pisces, at 2:12 am EST at 29 degrees and 53 minutes of Gemini and Pisces.  This is our introduction to the Solstice because the Solstice does not occur until 4:51 pm EST when the Sun enters the Cardinal water sign of Cancer and officially begins Cancer season; as well as the Summer season in the Northern Hemisphere, and the winter season in the Southern Hemisphere.  With the Sun squaring Neptune at the very last degree of the Zodiac, there is a pronounced sense of loss, feeling lost, vulnerability, dreams, and illusion.

Although this aspect is ephemeral, its message is impactful.  We are navigating very uncertain times in which our intellect and intutition are our biggest assets, yet we we will often be in conflict with both.  We need to let it flow, trust, and learn. Trust no one, but do not become jaded.  What a fine line!

The Solstice occurs at 4:51 EST when the Sun enters the Cardinal water sign of Cancer. I cast the chart for Washington DC, and the chart has Scorpio rising, which has Mars and Pluto as the rulers of the chart. There are three points in the Cancer, which urge you to rest, recharge, and do things that bring you comfort. These three points in Cancer fall in the eighth house, which is the Scorpio house of death, rebirth, wounds, healing, and transformation.  Healing is a huge focus in this Solstice chart.  The Sun represents ego and identity; Venus represents how you partner, what you love and value; Mercury, represents how you communicate. 

 In the Solstice chart, my eyes dart right to the Pisces section, in which Saturn is slowing down and is now at 19 degrees. Saturn retrogrades on June 29, 2024 at 19 degrees and 26 minutes of the mutable water sign of Pisces.  We will feel it five days before and five days afterwards.  When an outer planet stations, it intensifies the energy of the planet.  Saturn represents rules, regulations, authority figures, structures, limits, and karma.  You could feel pressured and feel you like are not working hard enough to structure the dream, which is Saturn in Pisces.  Saturn is about working with boundaries; Pisces is completely boundless. It is kind an irony, but think of it as trying to be patient to work hard to anchor and structure the dream.

There are five points in water in this Solstice chart, which says that logic is not where it’s at right now — whether you like that or not.  Just as Saturn slows down and retrogrades at the end of the month, Neptune transits at the final degree of the Zodiac!  Yeah, you heard me right! Not only is only transiting at the final degree of Pisces, this is the final degree of the entire Zodiac that encompasses all of the wisdom, hardships, trials, tribulations, and lessons of all of the preceding signs.  Neptune at 29 degrees of Pisces is a Fixed Star known as Scheat, which is 28 to 29 degrees of Pisces. It is connected with suicide and self-undoing. It is a very difficult placement of the Zodiac.

Many people that have Scheat in their charts are natural empaths, artists, and creative people. Not everyone that has that in their chart self destructs, but it is a quality that is undeniably associated with Scheat.  Therefore, be mindful of people around you that struggle with depression and addiction.  Check in on yourself.  If anything, the Universe is lining up to bring new opportunities and choices to create, innovate, and heal; but, there has been so much loss and time in this process. Neptune is tired, and so are we.

We will definitely feel the buildup of the Neptune station at the end of June and in early July.  Remember that the Sun squared Neptune on the day of the Solstice at 2:12 am EST and reminded us all of our vulnerability, fraility, creatity, magic, dreams, and empathy.  We are human.  With all of the AI and Pluto in Aquarius themes, it is critical to go back to the soul.  Saturn and Neptune will NOT let you forget that fact.

There is a Full Moon on June 21, 2024 at 9:08 pm EST at 1 degree and 7 minutes of the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn. This energy is so different from the Cancer energy that wants to relax and take care of home and self.  The sign of Capricorn is so goal oriented, and we are dealing with the dichotomy of needing to get things done and needing to find more balance.  Too many gadgets going off, and not enough focus.  When are the personal planets were transiting in Gemini, I find myself write four emails to myself within ten minutes of tasks I needed to do the following day.  Did any get accomplished? I don’t even remember how it felt to see so many email reminders and realized that was a message that I do not feel balanced enough.

This Full Moon is the first of two Full Moons in Capricorn. In the Full Moon on June 21st, the moon is by the world point, which is at 0 degrees of the Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricron. It speaks back to when Pluto initially entered Capricorn in 2008/2009 when the Financial Collapse occurred.

The second Full Moon in Capricorn occurs on July 21, 2024 and will be at 29 degrees and 9 minutes of Capricorn. The ruler of Capricorn is Saturn, which has slowed down for all of us to process what we have been working on since Saturn initially entered Pisces on March 7, 2023.  Saturn rules Capricorn in modern Astrology, where it is in full command.  It is quite another story in Pisces, but we are all trying to anchor a dream, which may feel slippery. The second Full Moon in Capricorn is very significant because Pluto will dip back into Capricorn from September 1 through November 19, 2024 at the very last degree of Capricorn, which is 29 degrees. This finalizes the Pluto in Capricorn story that began officially on January 27, 2008 when Pluto initially entered Capricorn! 

This second half of the year says goodbye to a lot of things that have not yet released. Remember that Pluto is still newly in the sign of Aquarius, where it will be for the next two decades.  We are letting go out of outdated systems and ways of doing things.  We are birthing a whole new society and world. 

With five points in water in the Solstice and Full Moon charts, the theme is more on developing your intuition, manifesting, dreaming, and love.  Chiron, the wounded healer,  transits at 23 degrees of the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries, which is by the world point and sets off the legendary Saturn/Pluto conjunction that changed the world forever on January 12, 2020.  This speaks to healing. 

Chiron was exactly conjunct the Total Solar Eclipse in Aries on April 8, 2024.  All of these points in water urge you to slow down and take care of self.  The two full moons in Capricorn remind you that we are all letting go of an era, and that our goals are still as important; but, your mental health is, too.  #astrology #solstice #summersolstice #horoscope #zodiac

New Moon in Taurus: Time to pick your chosen fruits!

Hi, Everyone,

It continues to be wild times.  Jupiter and Uranus met up at 21 degrees and 50 minutes of the Fixed earth sign of Taurus on 4/20/24 and initiated a new cycle of abundance, expansion, freedom; as well, as revolution, protests, chaos, surprise, and the unexpected.  Before we dive into the magic of this month, it is is imperative to take inventory of recent events.

Eclipses occur every six months, and they are like Full Moons and New Moons on steroids.  Eclipses are very similar in energy to the planet Uranus: They can bring earthquakes and natural disasters, unexpected and shocking news, they can wake you up to see things in a whole other way, and they can liberate you from something which has been building for a while.  Eclipses can also bring out-of-the-blue opportunities, which can be phenomenal — whether it be a new job offer, an opportunity to buy or sell a home, a new relationship, an announcement of an engagement or a birth, or a new work or social connection.  The ancients feared Eclipses to be ominous, but I have seen them to have amazing opportunities, as well.

The biggest Eclipse of the year and of the next couple of years was the Total Solar Eclipse that occurred on April 8, 2024 at 19 degrees of Aries and was exactly conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer.  In that Eclipse chart, there was a big emphasis to have courage to face the wounds and to fight for yourself and move ahead in tentative times.  Chiron represents deeply embedded wounds, and it is important to address those wounds. 

Jupiter met up with Uranus for the first time since 1/02/2011, and they formed a new thirteen year story around breakthroughs, ingenuity, invention, networking, rebellion, chaos, and protest.  Jupiter represents how we educate, and it represents universities — among other things.  Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius, and it is the iconoclastic planet.  Jupiter expands whatever it touches, and this expands the protests, the anger, and disruption that is rampant in the world. 

The wars are escalating with all of this Mars driven energy: The recent Total Solar Eclipse in Aries that was exactly conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer; Mercury’s three time dance with Chiron, the wounded healer, in Aries, which addresses heavy and deep seated wounds; and Mars now transits in its home sign of Aries, where it is very effective. It is also willing to go to war and fight.

Jupiter and Uranus met up together to bring innovation and new breakthroughs; but, there are also breakdowns.  Although Mercury is in its final meetup with Chiron today, it will clear its shadow on May 13, 2024 and will enter the Fixed earth sign of Taurus on May 15, 2024.  Time to summon the courage to face those wounds and take a deep look within yourself. 

Pluto retrograded on May 2, 2024 at 2 degrees and 6 minutes of the sign of Aquarius, and that heightens the emotional intensity, facing the wounds that are uncomfortable, mourning, loss, releasing, letting go, rebirthing, starting over, and transmuting.

Venus now transits in its home sign of Taurus, where it is so abundandant, fertile, and creative. It formed a challenging square to Pluto on May 1, 2024 — just a day before the Pluto station. This reinforces the message to release what holds you back from picking your chosen fruits.  Venus loves being in Taurus!  Although Mars is very militatant and aggressive while in Aries, it is in its home sign and is excellent for getting things done.  The new thirteen year story of Jupiter/Uranus in Taurus is about expanding through boundless resources that are within you.  Choose to be a deliberate creator and innovate a new future while you heal.   

Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, abundance, expansion, the higher mind, travel, and life experience transits in the Venus ruled sign of Taurus for just a while longer, as it will ingress into the mutable air sign of Gemini on May 25, 2024, where it will expand in SO many directions through June of next year. 

Before we get to this lovely New Moon in Taurus, let us consider our options and tools. Think of these factors: The Sun is currently in the sign of of Taurus, where it shines through being creative and finding value in beauty and nature;  Venus is in its home sign of Taurus, where is it is the creator and loves indulging all of the five senses; Mars is in its home sign, where it is the warrior and the pioneer;  Neptune is in its home sign in Pisces, which it rules in modern Astrology and represents compassion, the dream, imagionation, and magic. 

The Pluto station still lingers, as we feel it through May 7, 2024.  This is again about addressing what feels painful to face, but this is where you face those truths in order to heal and empower yourself. This is about purging what keeps you from transcending. Three planets are currently transiting in their home sign, which facilitates getting things done and this is an excellent time for you to take steps to get things done.

Although Pluto is currently retrograde, all of the other planets are currently direct; three planets are in the sign which they rule.  Time to get it moving after this creative, exciting, and eye opening pairing of Jupiter and Uranus, which introduces a new thirteen year chapter of expanding, opening doors, innovating and creating in the highly abundant sign of Taurus.  Choose the fruits of your labors when they are ripe and seize opportunities that come your way now!

The other thing that is very significant is that Neptune, the modern ruler of the Mutable water sign of Pisces and the planet of dreams, the unconscious mind, imagination, intuition, empathy, ascetic love, music, film, fantasy, smoke and mirrors, delusion, deception, and self undoing, transits at the very final degree of Pisces.  Let me make myself clear. This is the FINAL degree of the Zodiac, and this is a really big deal.  

Neptune takes approximately 165 years to transit, and it is now transiting approximately where it was in 1860, which was year that Lincoln was elected President.  Saturn and Neptune are now copresent in the sign of Pisces, which has not happened since the mid 1800s.  They were copresent in the sign of Pisces in 1848 when “The Communist Manifesto” was published.  This was also the beginning of The Gold Rush when many people charged ahead in hopes of dreams, money, and golden paradise.

Many people were chasing paper moons intead.  This is a time to pursue dreams, but keep your head about you. In fact, dreams are the most popular dish on the menu; but, have them with a cup of coffee so that you can stay awake and pick that fruit you have been planting!

Neptune transits at 29 degrees of Pisces from May 4, 2024 through September 3, 2024 and reaches this degree on and off again from March 4, 2025 through February 15, 2026.  The final degrees of Pisces represent the final degrees of the Zodiac and are the composite of all of the karmic lessons of the preceding signs.  28 and 29 degrees of Pisces are associated with a difficult Fixed Star known as Scheat, which is a Fixed star associated with drowning, suicide, self undoing, and being lost at sea. 

I find Scheat to be strong in the chart of Empaths and have noticed this a lot in the past couple of years in doing many different charts through the Pandemic, so this does not mean that everyone that has Scheat is destined to a life of doom.   In face, perhaps their path is to heal. Many seem to have tremendous artist ability as well. 

I do feel in terms of Mundane Astrology, Neptune will be both magical and uncertain with Neptune at the final degree of the Zodiac.  A huge emphasis on the mental crisis is in order and is being scripted for us all to pay attention.  It is critical that with both Saturn and Neptune transiting in the sign of dreams, intuition, illusions, addiction, and depression, that we all heed the lessons of Neptune at the final degree of Pisces where it is right now.  Many people will feel like they cannot reinvent themselves, which is not true.  With Pluto, the planet of transformation, newly in Aquarius, this is a time for invention, reinvention, and community. 

Neptune at 29 degrees of Pisces brings a light to mental health, and it is important to check in with yourself and others that suffer with addiction and depression. The two get close in the sky next Spring at the degrees of Scheat and meet up directly at the very first degree of Aries and at the world point in February of 2026.  A new approach to healing, being imaginative, and connecting to meditation, manifestation, and believing that you are the source of your own inner glimmer.

The New Moon in Taurus reminds you to be a creator.  The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction will occur in Taurus again in a very long time, but this is time to seize those fruits, as that new thirteen year chapter is still on the first page, and you are writing down your intentions with this New Moon of natural abundance. 

This is an excellent time to get your crystals out and have them by your side while you write down your intentions. Given the strong Piscean energy, I carry Tiger’s eye with me all of the time right now in order to ground.  I always have some small, loose Pyrite clusters in my bag because they are my favorite manifesting stones. For me personally, they always bring abundance.  I have a big Big Pyrite Sphere that I got a few years ago, and I call it my rock star crystal. I always have it on my desk or beside me on my couch when I work. Whatever it is for you, get your crystals or your chosen cosmic tools. Perhaps they are cinnamon sticks in your wallet to bring sales and sweetness? Be creative.

I am also fixing my balcony and getting my plants/planets in order. I have a feng shui water fountain that is by my plants, and I love it. It reminds me that in this time, we have to go with the flow in many areas where we have to embrace Piscean themes: surrender, suspension of disbelief, belief in magic, spirituality, kindness, and feelings.

We have to tap into faith, love, compassion, creativity, and seize the time we have now while the fruit is good in Taurus season, and four planets transiting right now in the sign of Taurus, which ruled by the planet Venus, which brings creative skills, Nature, values, money, self esteem, possessions, and ways to earn an income.

This will be a way for us to get through this painful time in the world.  I will in no way deny that the Astrology is tough.  As I write this article, Mercury has a third showdown with Chiron, the wounded healer, which was so pronounced in the Solar Eclipse.  A third opportunity to address the wounds and to reconsider how you can heal yourself.

The New Moon occurs in the Fixed earth sign of Taurus on May 7, 2024 at 11:22 PM EDT at 18 degrees and 2 minutes of the the Venus ruled sign of Taurus.  The New Moon is a time to plant new seeds.  Out of the signs of the Zodiac, Taurus is associated with Nature and with the earth.  The Moon is always an opportune time to plant new seeds literally and metaphorically, write down intentions, manifest, meditate, and visualize.

Total Solar Eclipse in Aries wants you to have courage to be you!

We are building up to the biggest Eclipse of the year and for next few years until we have a Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12, 2026.  This Total Solar Eclipse in Aries is life changing and invites us to have courage to upgrade our lives with courage, enthusiasm, passion, and action!  More significantly, it encourages us to face old wounds and heal ourselves and others.

We already experienced the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Libra on March 25, 2024 at 5 degrees and 7 minutes.  This was a South Node Eclipse — it was fairly faint in that the Earth’s outer shadow falls on the moon’s face. 

The Lunar Eclipse in Libra was not a strong Eclipse; but, in order to have a Lunar or a Solar Eclipse, the Nodes of the moon — otherwise known as the Nodes of Fate — need to be within 18 degrees of the Sun and the Moon.  That is why they are like full moons and New Moons on steroids.  Often fated opportunites, invitations, meetings, departures, breakups, and news come in a way that can change our lives forever.

The Total Solar Eclipse in Libra is more likely that type of an Eclipse, and its effects could linger through the remaining part of the year.  The Nodes of karma are only within four degrees of this New Moon Eclipse, and that means that this is a very fated moon. 

There have been several earthquakes recently: The biggest in Taiwan in 25 years, two eclipses in Japan, and a 4.8 Eclipse in Lebanon, New Jersey, which happens to be the date of the Total Solar Eclipse! My friend in California said to me, “We don’t even get out of bed for a 4.8.” It reminded me of that famous quote from the supermodel Linda Evangelista in the early 90s, where she said, “We don’t get out of bed for less than $10,000 per day.” Okay, now!

This Total Solar Eclipse occurs on April 8, 2024 at 2:21 pm EDT at 19 degrees and 24 minutes of the Cardinal fire sign of Aries and is exactly conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer.  The moon immediately meets up with Chiron at 2:21 pm, and the Sun follows suit at 2:28 pm EDT.  The Sun is strong, exalted, brave, and passionate in the Cardinal and action oriented sign of Aries.

Chiron represents wounds — mostly deep seated wounds that may have been there for years or all of your life.  This is a cosmic opportunity to heal those wounds and to initiate a new you with drive and focus!  Dive in to facing those wounds and feel allow yourself to experience it.  Chiron in Aries is wounds around identity, personal vulnerability, and ego.

The chart has several points in both the signs of Pisces and Aries.  Venus, the planet of love, beauty, relationships, and value, entered the sign of Aries on April 5th, where it will transit through April 29, 2024.  Venus in its detriment there and is on the chase; but, it is also very enthusiastic.  Venus ruled the first Eclipse on March 25, 2024.  That was a South Node Eclipse and a Lunar Eclipse, in which the focus is much more on completion and letting go.  The South Node represents that which no longer seves you.

This is a North Node Eclipse in Aries and wants you to upgrade and supercharge!  It is in Aries where it wants you to believe in yourself and be a peaceful pioneer that wants to make new dreams possible. Mars, which rules the sign of Aries, currently transits in the sign of Pisces, where it is in a pretty passive placement.  There is still a lot of Aries to overcome that, though.

In this Solar Eclipse chart, there are six points in Aries and three points in Pisces.  The North Node of Karma is at 15 degrees of Aries, which is where you are meant to grow and be fearless; The Moon, which is how you get your needs fulfilled; the Sun, which is how you shine; Chiron, the wounded healer; Eris, the goddess of discord, which fights for justice and inequality; Mercury, the planet of the mind, thoughts, and ideas.

There are also three points in Pisces. Saturn, the planet of constriction, restrictions, rules, and karmic lessons, is merely a degree away from Mars, which rules this VERY powerful Total Solar Eclipse in Aries. That takes away a little bit of the steam.  However, it urges you to work harder with the dreams that you feel are unobtainable.  Do some of spiritual practice: yoga, chanting, meditation, participating in sound baths, manifesting on your own or with others, prayer, etc. The Nodes of the moon form a quincunx to Saturn, planet of lessons and strucutre.  It may feel hard to harness what you are meant to do, but this Eclipse opens many doors.

With Eclipses, there are always endings and beginnings.  I have already heard of several layoffs, new job offers, moves, and breakups.  I have heard of some very exciting new opportunities, and dreams that people have decided to conquer. 

Bear in mind that Mercury, planet of perspective, communication, transportation, and commerce, retrograded on April 1, 2024 at 27 degrees and 10 minutes of the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries, which is the sign of this Eclipse. 

It will pass the degree of the Eclipse and Chiron and will station direct on April 25, 2024 at 15 degrees and 59 minutes of Aries, which is the degree of where the North Node is currently transiting in Aries.  This is an excellent opportunity to reset, refresh, renew, redo, reconsider, reapply, and reasses how you can really shine with all of this powerful and inspiring energy.  

Remember to set new intentions with this truly powerful and invigorating New Moon Eclipse in Aries. Remember that Eclipses bring things to light and make us see things in a way that we never have before.  Sometimes, there is shocking news or an event that rattles us and changes our lives forever.  They are also excellent for evolving your consciousness and bringing it to a whole other level.  I have seen major endings on New Moon (Solar) Eclipses, and I have seen major beginnings on Full Moon (Lunar) Eclipses, as they are very unpredictable and are like wild cards.

I feel a full moon rising!  Wowza!  So much Astrology to discuss.  I will cover in bits and write another piece soon to add to this.  At present, I have two little Leo male kittens running around like crazy.  They are from the same litter and are identical from the front; but, I can distinguish  them from the back because one has a broader beam and a crooked tail.  Is that sexist of me?!  They are twins, but would it not be scary if this were true of all, where we are indistinguishable robots that look and act the same.  Robots these are not!

They are flying around, and so are we all!  Two huge transits occur this year.  One HUGE cycle occurred last weekend.  Pluto, the planet of metamorphosis, change, evolution, power, big money, wounds, healing, and transformation, ingressed into the fixed air sign of Aquarius just hours before the Sun ingressed into Aquarius. 

Talk about a New Age of Aquarius!  We all got a preview on December 20, 2020 when Saturn, the planet of karma and structure, met up with Jupiter, the planet of expansion, vision, and growth, at 0 degrees of Aquarius. This ushered in a new era and an early preview of what Pluto will be doing for the next 20 odd years when it finally exits the sign of Aquarius on January 20, 2044.

Major cosmic shifts are occurring right now.  This brings a huge swing in consciousness — both on the individual and collective level.  Pluto digs things up in order to release that which no longer serve us, so that we can transcend.  Aquarius is a sign that represents the future, friendships, groups, and organizations; it also represents indivualism, originality, brilliance, quirkiness, and eccentricity.  Aquarius rules space, aviation, technology, and social media. 

You can see the signs all around you, as AI invades the world.  A woman  from Poland earns $40,000 on paintings “manufactured” by robotic dogs that paint for her like Picasso. Yeah, right.  Art without heart. Is that where we are headed?!?!  If it is, I do not know how much longer I can do this. Spiritual arts without heart. I don’t think so.

Keep in mind that Saturn, the cosmic architect, transits in the mutable water sign of Pisces on and off through February 16, 2026.  Not to mention that Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces, transits at the final degree of Pisces and of the entire Zodiac beginning on May 4, 2024 and will transit at this degree through September 3, 2024.  That is the fixed star known as Scheat, and it is a degree of the zodiac connected with self undoing. It is connected with imprisonment, drowning, suicide, and great misfortune. 

Neptune rules the imagination, the unconscious mind, the ocean, and dreams.  On the higher level, it represents empathy, love, compassion, and incredible creativity. On the more challenging level, it represents, lost souls, deception, depression, addiction, and a loss of direction.  Pisces is the sign of the mystics, musicians, artists, and empaths. As much as this is the New Age of Aquarius, Neptune’s waters flood the Aquarian soar into the sky, and we must all be VERY aware of that.  We need connection now. We need art with heart. We cannot let technology alienate us further than we already are; but, it will be a huge challenge.  My cats look alike because they are related.  Will we all be zoned out clones of sadness in this time? Or will we come together to create art and spiritual experiences, to sing, to cry, to love, and to help those that cannot help themselves.  

Today is the day of the Full Moon in Leo, which occurred at 12:54 pm EST at 5 degrees and 14 minutes of the fixed fire sign of Leo.  Leo is the sign of self. It represents passion, creativity, and the heart.  This is the first full moon in Leo for the next twenty years that will oppose Pluto.  The fixed signs are feeling this strongly: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.  Anyone with planets between 2 and 8 degrees of these signs will feel it the most. We all feel these shifts tremendously.

Pluto opposes this Full Moon and reminds us all to release fear of the future, as we must release control with Pluto.  The Full Moon squares Jupiter, the grand benefic, which is currently transiting in the fixed earth sign of Taurus, where it expands resources.  The sun squares Jupiter directly on January 27, 2024 at 2:18 am EST.   A LOT of emotions, change, endings, and awakening.  

The other thing to add is that Uranus, the planet of enlightenment, inventiveness, electricity, and chaos, stations direct at on January 27, 2024 at 2:35 pm EST at 19 degrees and 5 minutes of the fixed earth sign of Taurus. Anyone with planets at 16 degrees to 22 degrees of the fixed signs will feel it the most: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. This is an electric jolt we all feel.  There was an earthquake yesterday in the San Bernardino area at 4.2 magnatude. Often when Uranus stations, there are earthquakes or other natural disasters. I remember when Uranus initially entered the sign of Taurus on May 15, 2018, and there was a volcano in Hawaii. You could experience issues with your technology —  gadgets, phones, computers, etc.  

 

This is a time to ground yourself.  You could feel like you are trying to fall asleep with all of the lights on in the house.  Do things to elevate your energy.  I would recommend some clearing like putting out a bowl of salt, burning sage or palo santo, getting rid of clutter, and clearing space. Work with your heart chakra.  Get some rose quartz, spend time with someone you love, connect with your animals, and connect to your creative spirit.  Focus on what you want to release in order to obtain your heart’s desire.

It would be a lie if I were to say this is an easy year or an easy time.  Pluto takes 248 years to transit.  It briefly entered Aquarius from March 23, 2023 through June 12, 2023.  That was just opening the window to let in the air.  Now, the windows have flown wide open, and there is no turning back! 

We can come together with prayer, love, chanting, brainstorming, and building connections.  We already know from the past four years how damaging isolation has been to us all.  The future is now so fast that you want to reflect back on Jupiter in Taurus where you expand through natural resources. Stay in nature and stay grounded because this Aquarius/Pisces combo is like sci fi and ethereal at the same time.  The future is so fast, I need to wear shades.  Let’s hope it can be bright, too.  We co-create this story, and I am ready to focus on the heart.

New Moon in Capricorn: We finally get a head start!

It has been four years since the legendary pairing of Saturn and Pluto, which took place on January 12, 2020 at the world point, which is at 22 degrees of any Cardinal sign: Aries, Cancer Libra, and Capricorn. In the case of January of 2020, the two tradiional malefics met up at 22 degrees of Capricorn and demolished (pluto) all of the structures in our world as we know it (Saturn/Capricorn). In many cases, structures cam down forever in our personal lives, in our neighborhoods, and on the world front. In other cases, much scaffolding and restructuring in every sense.

The narrative has segued to a focus on mental health, addiction, depression, alienation, creativity, inspiriation, dreams, and empathy. Saturn is now transiting in the mutable water sign of Pisces, where it entered on March 7, 2023, and where it will tour on and off through February 15, 2026. Each of us has been a viction of this time.

Pisces and Neptune can both represent the victims — among other things. Saturn, planet of structure, is still transiting in the very early degrees of Pisces. Whereas, Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces and planet of dreams, illusion, delusion, compassion, and imagionation, is transiting at the very late degrees of Pisces in 2024. This is hardly a time to weaponize victimhood. This is a time to garner passion, empathy, and imagination to be part of other like minded souls aiming to help those who really cannot reprsesent or speak up for themselves.

t is now Capricorn season, which is a time to focus on what your future goals and plans are, and what steps and strategy you want to take to get there. On December 30, 2023, Jupiter, which is the grand benefic and the luckiest planet of the zodiac, stationed direct at 5 degrees and 34 minutes of the fixed earth sign of Taurus. We feel the characteristics of any outer planet magnified when it stations. With Jupiter, is is excess, abundance, opportunity, good fortune, travel, and higher learning, and sometimes it is just plain too much! Nonetheless, Jupiter is the planet of optimism, and it marks and optimism and hope much needed both to end 2023 and begin 2024.

Mercury, the planet of communication, information, travel, and transportation, retrograded on December 13, 2023 at 8 degrees and 29 minutes of the cardinal earth sign of Capricorn. This was an opportunity to reexamine your goals and what you the big goal(s) you want to accomplish in the year of 2024. Mercury stationed direct on January 1 at 22 degrees and 11 minutes of the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius, which is a sign that is ruled by Jupiter and is a sign that seeks hopefulness and adventure.

Mercury will actually retrade at this very degree on November 25, 2024 later in the year at 22 degrees of Sagittarius so in regards to some things you are developing at the the very beginning of this year will afford you the opportunity to re-do and e-evaulate the process by holiday season of 2024. But, who wants to jump to holiday season when we finally left that noise behind?

So, where are we this week? Well, it is currently January 9 2024, and Mercury, the planet of communication, made a challenging square to Neptune, planet of confusion and dreams, on January 8, 2024. We felt the buildup all of last week. Even though Mercury is now direct, this could bring a fog and a haze. It can make you feel tired and draind. However, I think there is more of of a magical tone to it.

There is a new moon in Capricorn on January 11, 2024, and it encapsulates the goal driven tone of 2024 in spite of the Neptune haze is quite haze with Saturn and Neptune taking a mystical tour in Neptune’s waters. Mars, the planet of action, drive, and ambition, entered the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn on January 4, 2024, where it will tour through February 13, 2024. Mars loves being in Capricorn, where it is exalted and is extremely driven and actien oriented. Mars in Capricorn strives to get it done and will deliver!

The Sun, Mars, and Pluto are all transiting in Capricorn. The sun represents how you shine, and it represents ego and identity. Mars is the planet of action. Pluto is the planet of death, rebirth, transformation, and evolvement.

Mars is not only transiting in Capricorn, where is is very powerful and exalted; but, it is out-of-bounds from December 20, 2023 through January 23, 2024. This means it exceeds the Sun’s path by declination and exceeds either 23 degrees and 27 north or south of the ecliptic. This amplifies the Mars energy and can make you extra successful at the tasks you take on; but, it could also amplify people’s anger and impatience.

The New Moon in Capricorn occurs on January 11, 2024 at 6:57 am EST at 20 degrees and 44 minutes of the Cardinal sign of Capricorn, which automatically sets off the legendary Saturn/Pluto pairing from 1/12/2020, which changed the world forever. It also sets of the the Lunar Eclipse that occurred on 1/10/2020 at 20 degrees of Cancer and opposed this point and directly opposes the upcoming New Moon. There have been so many tests and challenges in the past few years with heavy Saturnian demands. However, it is time to build again and focus on dreams. Saturn, the cosmic architect, is no longer in the signs that it rules or in a sign it particularly likes while in Pisces, but it is is a time to surrender, dream, imagine, float, and tap into the alpha part of the brain.

I cast the New Moon chart for Washington DC, and the chart has Capricorn Ascendandant in addition to its being a new moon in Capricorn. Heavy energy around business, goals, responsibilities, and achievement! All of the planets are direct aside from Uranus, which stations direct on January 27, 2024 at 19 degrees and 5 minutes of the fixed earth sign of Taurus. This new moon chart provides a lot of opportunitiy to get things done, as the New Moon itself falls in the first house of new beginning.

Uranus, the planet of invention, forms a beautiful angle to the New Moon and reminds you that you are the source of a lot of abundance and expansion, and it is within you more than you realize. The New Moon trine Uranus brings a lot of innovative thinking, and it is excellent for networking, online ventures in work, and out-of-the-blue good luck! This New Moon squares the Nodes of Fate, which are currently transiting at 20 degrees of the Cardinal signs of Aries and Libra. This could bring even more fated opportunities to connect socially, Pay attention to invitations, events, and meetings that occur around the weekend of January 12, 2024.

Mercury is at 27 degres of the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius, and this is right at the Galactic center, which is the center of the milky way. You can get a lot of sensitive information and psychic downloads with Mercury at the Galactic Center, and it squares Neptune, planet of confusion and idealism. On one hand, things are boundless and beyond your wildest dreams.

This new Moon wants you to really dream and focus on your inuition and psychic ability. However, with Pluto at the final degree of Capricorn and a new moon in Capricorn with Mars in its exaltation in Capricorn in this New Moon chart, it is time to take inventory and accountability.

This is probably my last big article of the year, and what a difficult year it has been! Saturn and Pluto had their legendary pairing on January 12, 2020 at the world point in Capricorn, and that is almost four years ago. Yet, as a collective, we still struggle to repair all of the shattered structures and lives that have been impacted since that time.

We conclude the year with Mercury retrograde in Capricorn, which could bring reconnection with goals, ambition, former co-workers, and reexamination of achievement, and how to get there. Mercury retrogrades both in Capricorn and Sagittarius this retrograde period. In Sagittarius, it is about reassing how to stay positive in difficult times, how to soar, expand, and draw in your vision.

Saturn entered the mutable water sign of Pisces on March 7, 2023, and it will transit through the sign of Pisces on and off through February 15, 2026. Saturn represents authority figures, rules and regulations, structures, responsibility, karma, character, and integrity. Saturn also governs time.

With Saturn in Pisces, it is hard to get the journey going or to believe it is even worth it. Pisces is mutable water, and it cannot be contained. It could feel like you started on what felt like a First Class trip on The Orient Express and ended up on a Peter Pan bus with a driver on his soapbox telling you to keep it down while he talks to his mother for the entire ride on a speaker phone.

Don’t think about how you get there. Don’t question your transportation. Tune that driver out with your headphones and let your imagination take you where you want to go. You are most definitely not at the helm with Saturn in Pisces; yet, you need not be. You can still get there. Follow me along, and I will show you. This is a time where our faith and dreams are being challenged in big ways. Put on those headphones. Close your eyes, smile, and dream your new future.

Pluto is the planet of death, rebirth, power, and big money. Pluto also changed signs in the month of March and entered the fixed air sign of Aquarius, where it will tour on and off through January of 2044. Pluto in Aquarius indicates much social change, rebellion, and chaos; as well as a world far more immersed in technology — whether or not we like it. AI has only just begun.

The last New Moon of the year occurred on December 12, 2023 in the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius, which is a sign of optimism, truth, and hope. This New Moon occurred at 20 degrees and 40 minutes of Sagittarius and formed a wide conjunction with Mars in Sagittarius, which strives for adventure and learning. The moon in Sagittarius is one of the most joyous placements of the moon. Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, and it is exalted in the sign of Cancer, which is ruled by the moon. The moon loves being in Sagittarius. The moon in Sagittarius expands through laughter, belief, and optimism. The people I know that share this placement laugh from the heart.

This New Moon was a cosmic reminder that it is a very tough spiritual bus ride that we are all on together, but there is a lot of joy and fun we can have if we do not lose a vision for the future. Maybe your transfer ride is late, and you are stuck at the station. Get your tablet or a notepad and jot down some ideas that you want to magnetize into reality. The Moon in Sagittarius went void with a square to Neptune. Jupiter is the vision. Neptune is the dream.

The New moon and Neptune in conflict could reinforce the idea that it is not worth it and will not work out, so why try? It could also double down the idea that you need to pray, chant, trust, clear space, and have visions and dreams that you cannot lose even if you need to change buses. Perhaps there are deceptive people that are keeping the dream at bay. It is too late to get off the bus now, and we need your dreams. We need to dream together and fuel this bus with cosmic inspiration.

Next year, Neptune, the planet of illusion, fantasy, dreams, spirituality, addiction, drugs, alcohol, deception, vulnerability, and kindness, reaches the final degree of the Zodiac and will be at the final degree of Pisces. This will be difficult for many. Addiction, deception, depression, homelessness, mental illness, and feeling lost. It is a reality we face, but there is such a beautiful, creative, and spiritual element to all of this that we cannot forget. In fact, it is what will keep us going and help us create something beautiful.

Mercury, the planet of information, communication, the intellect, and learning, retrograded on December 13, 2023 at 2:09 am EST at 8 degrees and 28 minutes of the cardinal earth sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is a sign of ambition and initative. This is an opportunitity to reassess how you can achieve your goals in a more constructive way. You reconnect with people with whom you used work or revisit goals that you that you have put on the shelf. This is a great opportunity to analyze what you wish to construct in 2024.

Mercury re-enters the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius on December 23, 2023 and stations direct on January 1, 2024 at 10:08 pm EST at 22 degrees and 10 minutes of Sagittarius. This is a great way to begin the year, as Mercury’s station in Sagittarius is a message for all of us to expand in 2024 through learning and hope. Mercury may be in its detriment in Sagittarius, as it rules the opposite sign of Gemini; yet, I find people that have this signature, devour a lot of information and are constantly curious about a variety of things.

Mercury’s station on January 1, 2024 reminds us all that we are moving ahead and attracting new opportunities by feeling like we could end up in “the right place at the right time.” Thoughts become things, and Mercury’s station in the hopeful fire sign of Sagittarius proclaims this for 2024. Mercury also stations at 22 degrees of Sagittarius, which is just off by two degrees from the New Moon in Sagittarius that we celebrated on December 12th, 2023.

Keep working with what you are trying to bring into your life. Remember that this is about suspension of disblief, as Neptune requests and requires that you trust the process and let go of control. Mercury in Capricorn is a stratregic placement, where you can plan the future with clarity and back it up with action.

The Sun in Sagittarius forms a challenging square to Neptune in Pisces on December 16, 2023 at 10:43 pm EST at 24 degrees and 55 minutes. This is a very draining energy, so make sure to take extra time for self care and getting rest. This can be very creative and romantic, but it will likely be emotional. Get extra rest. Chant, pray, and manfest. This combination speaks back to the New Moon in Sagittarius. The dream and vision are still there, but it takes extra time to make a plan. The Sun and Neptune in conflict bring uncertainty.

This could make you doubt yourself, and deception could be in the air. Dreams are magnified. Immerse yourself in those dreams as much as possible and cleanse the negativity, as it is easy to absorb other people’s energy.

The Sun entered the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius on November 22, 2023 at 9:03 am EDT, where it will transit through December 21, 2023. Sagittarius is a fire sign, which is ruled by the planet Jupiter. Jupiter is the Grand Benefic of the Zodiac, and it represents abundance, good fortune, hope, travel, wisdom, and higher learning. Sagittarius is a sign of freedom and broad horizons.

This lends some hope after a particularly heavy Scorpio season driven by Mars tailgating the Sun in Scorpio; Mars travels with the Sun in the month of November. When it leaves Scorpio, it leaves its dignity and where is particularly strong; but, painful emotions do not drive actions, as has been the case in the past few weeks.

The Sun forms a challenging square to Saturn in Pisces, which becomes exact on November 23, 2023 at 4:47 am EST. Saturn represents and restrictions. Saturn is a mutable fire sign, which is a sign of freedom and truth, and it can feel like your freedom is being challenged or that you are not able to tap into optimism as much as you normally can. Use this energy to focus on what small habits or actions you can take to tap into the hope, as it is there for you! Saturn in Pisces tests our faith and dreams, and it requites an ability to suspend disbelief that your dreams are inaccessible in tentative times.

Mars, the planet of action, passion, aggression, and drive, exits the sign of Scorpio and also enters the mutable sign of Sagittarius, on November 24, 2023 at 5:15 am EST. Mars tours in Sagittarius through January 4, 2023. Mars in Sagittarius is a time to manifest, promote, publish, teach, take a workshop or a class, and travel! Take action to magnetize your vision. Mars clashes with Saturn, on November 25, 2023 at 11:57 am EST, and there could be some frustrating delays with travel or a sense of being held back in some way. It is an excellent energy for focusing on a demanding project that requires a lot of diligence.

For most of the weekend, the moon is in a lovely place in the fixed earth sign of Taurus, where it is exalted. There is a buildup to the Full Moon in Gemini, which occurs on November 27, 2023 at 4:16 am EST at 4 degrees and 51 minutes of the mutable air sign of Gemini.

I cast the Full moon chart to Washington DC, and it has Scorpio rising at the very first degree, and both Mars and Pluto rule the chart. Mars is now in Sagittarius and clashing with Saturn, which holds it back from adventure.

Mars is still on top of the Sun; Saturn is the at the bottom of the chart an in a sign that lacks security but in a sector that craves it. Saturn forms a a challenging T Square, which involves Mars and the Sun in Sagittarius, who are fighting for freedom, joy, and truth; moon in Gemini, which needs to talk.

They are all struggling with Saturn, which tries to curb their enthusiasm. Try to think of it as bringing an attempt at structure, in which so many planets are currently mutable and floating around that in a way that could feel very scattered and unfocused.

The positive part of the Saturn square is that it could wake you up to the fact that you need to take more micro steps in order to your goals accomplished and get you in motion. Venus, the planet of love, value, and money, is at 21 degrees and 2 minutes of the Cardinal air sign of Libra, which is exactly the degree where the Solar Eclipse occurred on October 14, 2023. Focus on love and beauty. Focus on what gives you happiness, and how you can bring kindness to others.

This is an excellent time to try to harness your imagination and meditate to release the fears that keep you from achieving your dreams. Burn some palo santo, sage, or incense. Write your fear on a piece of paper and carefully burn it in a safe place and let those fears burn up in Sagittarius time. Since Mars is close, be extra careful. Saturn is the reality planet, and it is challenging your dreams and visions. Yet, Neptune, which is the modern ruler of Pisces, is currently transiting at the late degrees of Pisces, where it is in its rulership. Neptune in Pisces creates the dream.

Neptune forms a close hit to Mercury, planet of thoughts and perspective, in the Full Moon chart. Full Moons are a time of completion, and they can also uncover information — particularly in the chatty sign of Gemini. A Full Moon sheds a light on a situation.

Mercury squaring Neptune helps you to tap into that dream in a big way. Please remember this lesson that Saturn in Pisces needs you to get this next few years. It may not be tenth Grade Literature, but “suspension of disbelief,” will be key to get you through the Saturn in Pisces/Pluto in Aquarius era.
