New Moon in Scorpio: Magical metamorphosis.

Hi, Everyone,

It has been quite a year, and this week helps to bring us down another corridor through this Capricorn year of reconstruction. On November 12, 2020, Jupiter and Pluto met up a third and final time at 22 degrees of Capricorn. Jupiter represents abundance, expansion, optimism, generosity, higher education, and empirical learning. Pluto is the planet of death, rebirth, transformation, transcendence, transition, joint resources, debt, taxes, other people’s money, blocked wounds, and healing. When these two planets meet up in the sky approximately every 12 to 13 years, this brings a transformative and healing tone. Jupiter and Pluto already met up twice before this year: April 4, 2020 at 24 degrees of Capricorn and June 30, 2020 at 24 degrees of Capricorn. This final meetup is exactly at the world axis, which is at 22 degrees of the Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. When transits occur at the world axis, they have a huge global impact and affect all of us. They also induce big world events.

Jupiter and Pluto are a very healing combination, and they are excellent together in business. Keep in mind that this whole year has been The Capricorn year of reconstruction. Saturn, which is the ruler of Capricorn, met up in the sky with Pluto, the cosmic compost, at 22 degrees of Capricorn (world axis) on January 12th and brought massive loss, endings, ending and transition of old structures, and huge new beginnings and directions for us all. Jupiter and Pluto are now triggering that unforgettable conjunction which changed the world. It removes the band-aids, so that the wounds are deeply raw and ready to heal. After all, this is Scorpio season. This is not just rainbows and glittering crystals in the sky. That does not mean in any way to stop searching for the rainbows! It makes it a bigger reason to do so and not to give up on your dreams. This clears the collective debris, so that you can make space for that magic in your life again.

Mars, which is the modern ruler of the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries and the ancient ruler of the Fixed water sign of Scorpio, stationed direct on November 13, 2020 at 15 degrees and 14 minutes of the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries. This is a huge deal for all of us, and it is a helpful shift in moving forward in this year of massive Capricorn constrictions under which we have all been working. Those born under the signs of Aries and Scorpio will feel the Mars station the most, but we will all feel it! At the moment, you could feel amped up, tired and in need of rest, or really fresh and revitalized. The anger could be much more prominent and emphasized with Mars newly direct. The need to accomplish could also be highly pronounced right now and hopefully is! Mars gives us our passion, drive, courage, initiative, and ambition to accomplish. The good news it that in the bigger arc of things, Mars is now direct in the sign it love to be more than any other sign. It helps us to get things done, launch things we need to do, and give us our courage to work when we may feel vulnerable and stuck. Mars clears its shadow on January 4, 2021 when it reaches the degree at which it originally retrograded on September 9, 2020; but, it exits the sign of Aries altogether on January 6, 2021. This is good news for all of us to get things going and move ahead, as we complete the remaining Capricorn era!

There is a very powerful New Moon that occurs on November 15, 2020 at 12:06 am EST at 23 degrees and 17 minutes of the fixed water sign of Scorpio. The New Moon is a time when you want to initiate new things in your life and focus on new beginnings. This moon in Scorpio is most definitely a very manifesting new moon where you want to focus on that which you wish to manifest; however, is also entails a lot endings and release. The New Moon in Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, which is still at the world axis at 22 degrees of the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn. As much as this new moon is about birthing new beginnings, it also involves purging what blocks you from your value, love, and creativity. On the day of the New Moon, Venus in Libra forms an exact square to Pluto in Capricorn at the world axis. Venus is the planet of love, money, beauty, creativity, fun, glamour, and kindness. You need to let go of the draining habits and relationships that are blocking you from beginnings something powerful. Pluto is urging us all to release that which binds us, as we plan ahead for the path we choose. Choose that direction wisely, and what you need to release to get on track.

The New Moon forms a very helpful sextile to the three planets transiting in Capricorn: Pluto, the planet of renewal and empowerment, Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, and Saturn, the planet, of structures. A sextile is always an opportunity. Use this cosmic invitation to expand and structure that which you wish to create during this POWERFUL new moon in Scorpio. I cast the chart for the the East Coast, and it has Virgo ascendant with Mercury, planet of communication, as the ruler of the chart. The Stellium of planets in Scorpio falls in the third house of thinking: Mercury, the ruler of the chart, which is the cosmic detective while in the mysterious and highly perceptive in the sign of Scorpio; Juno, the asteroid of partnerships; The sun, ego strength; and the Moon, which indicates security, all in Scorpio — occupying the the third house of thoughts and ideas. This New Moon is inconjunct The North Node in Gemini that is at 21 degrees of Gemini and at the top of the chart in the house of life goals. It is at the same degree where Venus, planet of value, retrograded on May 13, 2020. This inconjunction indicates a need and an opportunity to adjust from emotional thinking to objective thinking in order that you can transform your thinking to empower you to get through the challenges that still lie ahead.

The New Moon also forms a magical trine to Neptune, planet of dreams and imagination. This is a really manifesting energy, as you truly need to use the imagination to believe that you wish to manifest is indeed possible. This New Moon officially marks the beginning of Eclipse season, as it is the last lunation before The Lunar Eclipse in Gemini on November 30, 2020. Eclipse seasons indicate a period of heightened activity, out-of-the-blue events, major beginnings, and endings, transitions, and unexpected news.

New jobs, moves, layoffs, breakups, and life changes can happen in a flash during Eclipse season! They sometimes involve events that change our lives forever.  They are wild cards, and they definitely indicate a lot of activity and movement.  That adds the intensity to the month of November a few more notches!

This New Moon is an excellent time to burn palo santo, get your crystals out, and do a ritual that speaks to you.  There are no rules.  Just focus on your intentions and get really clear on what you want to release and what you want to create.  The New Moon is an excellent time to write intentions of what you want to begin.  It is also an excellent time to do the Law of Abundance.

Take a blank check and date it for the day of the New Moon, which is November 15, 2020 on the East Coast. Adjust to your time zone.  Print out your name, where it says, “Pay to the order of, ” and then leave the small numeric box blank. Print on the next line, “PAID IN FULL.”  At the bottom of the check, where you normally sign your name, print “The Law of Abundance.” I wish you much luck and transformation!
