Uranus in Taurus: Open your eyes
This continues to be a very karmic month filled with unexpected twists and turns; as well as unexpected events. To repeat, we have a historical lineup of three points in the Cardinal Earth sign of Karma, which is the planet of karma. Saturn, the planet of Karma and structure, in its rulership at 20 degrees of Capricorn; The South Node of Fate at 20 degrees of the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn, where we need to release and let go; and Pluto, the planet of transformation and power, in Capricorn.
This lineup in Capricorn has not occurred since the 1520’s, and it is as close this month as it will ever be. We will never see it again in our lifetime. Cardinal signs are action oriented, and it is time to heed what comes up for you. Pluto met up with the South Node on April 4th and gave us all a glimpse of what needs to be released and transformed. They met up at 23 degrees of Capricorn.
Next January, Saturn and Pluto will meet up at 22 degrees of Capricorn, and there will be a huge restructuring in our own lives and in the collective. If you have any planets at 18 to 24 degrees of the Cardinal signs, you feel this the most. The Cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.
If you do not have Cardinal planets at those degrees, you still feel this is in some area of your chart and in your life. You will also to see this karmic crossing continue to play out this month on the world stage. If you know your time of birth, there are free websites like cafeastrology.com and Astro.com, where you can get a free chart and see where lineup occurs for you. You can also schedule a reading to find out in more depth what this lineup means for you specifically.
Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth, stations retrograde on April 24, 2019 at 23 degrees of Capricorn. The energy is most palpable five days before and five days after a station. With Pluto retrograde, it is a time to reflect on how you can transform your life. Pluto stations every year for approximately five months. The fact that Pluto is so closely linked to Saturn and the South Node brings heavy, fated times for all of us. So many endings and changes this month already. So many critical decisions about the future.
Pluto met up with the South Node for the first time in seventeen years on April 4, 2019, and that is also a big deal. Pluto rules the underworld, and dramatic events can occur with a Pluto station.
On Easter Sunday, there was a devastating terrorist attack in Sri Lanka. Almost three hundred people were murdered, and five hundred were injured. This is a very heightened time in the world, where we have to be conscious of our actions more than ever. This lineup in Capricorn does not mess around. We need to act from love and not from hate. We need to be conscious more than ever and raise the vibration.
There are events that are out of control, and this month underscores that fact and gives us a preview of 2020 when Saturn and Pluto will be conjunct in Capricorn. You can only control how you respond to these events. Are you being conscious in your own life of the red flags that are occurring? Are you releasing toxic behavior, people, and situations? Are you building something new of value?

It represents our resources, possessions, and our values. Taurus is also the most connected to the Earth out of all of the Earth signs. It is no coincidence that Earth Day occurs during the Taurus season. It is a time to be connected to nature. It is a time to surround yourself with art and beauty of all forms.

There are several planets in the Cardinal signs, which means that April is a significant time for taking action where you want to structure your goals and transform yourself. Both Mercury and Venus entered the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries in the past few days, and this is fiery but courageous energy.
Venus in Aries is fervent and aggressive, as she is in her detriment. Venus remains in Aries through May 15, 2019. Mercury is blunt, direct, and a bit abrasive in Aries. Mercury remains in Aries through May 6, 2019. They are new additions to the lineup of Cardinal planets, which requests that you step it up in your life.
Venus meets up with Chiron, the wounded healer, on April 23, 2019 at 3 degrees of Aries. There are heated emotions and words around love. However, this is also an excellent aspect for healing wounds around love and having courage to open your heart if you decide. This is a month to take responsibility and act with courage.

There is one aspect that occurs this week that will challenge the need to take action. Mars is currently transiting in the mutable air sign of Gemini, and it is a time to accomplish many different things, network, communicate, and learn. Mars is the planet of action. Up until April 20, 2019, Mars was out-of-bounds and really acting up in a big way.
Mars forms a challenging square with Neptune in Pisces on April 27, 2019 at 9:03 am EDT. This energy builds up this week, and it can feel foggy during very heated times. There is so much to to do and intellectually process with Mars in Gemini. The Capricorn lineup insists we pay attention very closely to our karmic lessons. Venus and Mercury are on a bit of warpath in Aries. Yet, Mars square Neptune can be exhausting and enervating.
When Mars challenges Neptune, you can perceive your success in an unrealistic light. You may diminish your success in your own personal narrative. Be gentle with yourself. Neptune dampens things, and Mars in Gemini wants to multitask to the extreme. This can ultimately be very draining. Over the weekend, listen to your intuition. Some things will be intuitive and illogical with Mars/Neptune. Gadgets and travel could be challenged in some ways, so try to be patient.
Rest in between because this is a very busy month. Today’s meeting of Uranus and the Sun in Taurus marks new beginnings around creativity. Honor what that means for you.
