New Moon in Aries: Be yourself
Hi, Everyone,
It is time to wake up and shake that Neptune fog! Mercury, the cosmic messenger, really messed with our heads this past six weeks. Mercury has been in the mutable water sign of Pisces since February 11th, and it met up with Neptune for the first time on February 19, 2019.
Mercury was retrograde from March 5th, 2019 until March 28, 2019 when it stationed direct with a conjunction to Neptune. Neptune is the planet of mysteries, spirituality, loss, illusion, deceit, and confusion. For many, it stillfeel likes Mercury is retrograde.
Keep in mind that when Mercury initially stationed retrograde, it was at 29 degrees of the mutable water sign of Pisces. This degree is the Fixed star known as Scheat and is a very difficult degree. It is the final degree of the zodiac, where we wrap up karma and face old ghosts. It is also a degree of self undoing and misfortune. Mercury finally clears its shadow on April 17, 2019 when it clears it shadow and enters the pioneering sign of Aries on April 17, 2019.
Mercury met up a third and final time on April 2, 2019 at 17 degrees of Pisces. The two planets are now separating, but they will be traveling close together until April 11, 2019. Shake the mental fog and tap into the manifesting part of Neptune. Manifest your dream — not your fears. Although the Neptunian energy is still lurking this next couple of weeks, it is time to refocus your efforts and get busy!
Mars changed signs on March 31, 2019 and entered the mutable air sign of Gemini, where it will tour through May 15, 2019. Mars is the planet of action, courage, and combat. Mars rules the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries, and it is also the ancient ruler of the Fixed water sign of Scorpio.
Mars is the ruler of this Aries season. While in Gemini, it is very cerebral and very scattered. It is a multi-tasking placement, but you can feel like your thoughts are in ten different directions at once. Take action through your words and ideas; but, be gentle in how you approach people. Mars in Gemini can be combative. Instead, use the energy to learn.
This is a big month because it gives us more of the story of the Saturn/Pluto/South node story in Capricorn and a preview of 2020 when Jupiter joins the party in Capricorn. On April 4, 2019, Pluto meets up with the South Node of Karma at 23 degrees of the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn.
This is a foreshadowing of when Saturn and Pluto meet up on January 12, 2019 at 22 degrees of Capricorn. Stories that come up this week and month give an idea of what you will be dealing with in 2020. What do you need to purge to structure your ambitions, and what is right for you? What do you need to work on with more ambition and Cardinal action to achieve?
This is far different from the Pisces story. This is about facing reality and taking accountability. This is major change, release, endings, and karmic stories for all of us individually and collectively. Karmic connections and opportunities can also come into your life now. Pluto and the South meet up approximately every seventeen years. The last time they met up was at 14 degrees of Sagittarius in August of 2002.
Saturn meets up with the South Node at 20 degrees of Capricorn on April 30, 2019. That is when Saturn will be stationing retrograde on April 29, 2019; therefore, this amplifies the energy of Saturn and its karmic lessons.
The month of April is definitely about figuring out what you need to do. This energy reminds me of the Judgment card in Tarot. You cannot avoid your fate. You can make the best decisions to work with the lessons that come up for you.
You can co-create and work on how you react to the lessons and issues that develop. It is imperative to act with integrity. Now is the time to shake the avoidance.
The great news about this week is that there is a very potent New Moon in the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries, which kicks up Aries season to another level. This is a great New Moon for manifesting and beginning new things. The Sun is exalted while in Aries, and it is a time of initiating new things.
The sign of Aries deals with courage, taking leaps of faith, making things happen, and it is a sign of new beginnings. This New moon helps to shake up the sleep dust in our eyes that was permanently attached during the month of March. The New Moon occurs on April 5, 2019 at 4:50 AM EDT. The New Moon chart has Aquarius ascendant, which is ruled by Uranus, the planet of genius and chaos. Uranus recently changed signs and is now in early degrees of Taurus. We are still learning what that means. It is a time of finding new value and new ways to earn income.
This is particularly true because Uranus falls in the house of income in the New Moon chart with an enabling sextile to Chiron, the wounded healer. Time to have courage to act without getting hung up on your vulnerabilities. You may feel like a pariah, but it is time to embrace YOU! The New Moon occurs at 15 degrees and 17 minutes of Aries and is in the second house of earnings and value. This new moon speaks back to the Partial Solar Eclipse that occurred on January 5, 2019 at 15 degrees of Capricorn. Stories that come up at that time might get closure. You may get more information as to what you need to do to launch what you began at that time.
It is time to move ahead now and take it to another level. Get your work done and prepare for 2020 with Saturn and Pluto so deeply connected to the Nodes of fate in Capricorn/Cancer. Look back to what you started in January, but you also need to plan ahead. Saturn rules time, and there is no time to waste.
The New Moon has a lot of power to manifest ambitions! The Sun is exalted, strong, and courageous. The moon in Aries has the confidence to charge ahead. There is a stellium of planets in Pisces, which help to manifest and magnetize dreams. Create what you want.
The Stellium of Pisces falls in the first house. Mercury is still in its detriment in the sign of Pisces. It is only within a degree of Neptune. Write, chant, create, sing, visualize, and imagine what you want to anchor this year. Pisces rules the imagination. Venus is also in the house of new beginnings and is exalted in Pisces. This is highly creative, empathetic, and loving.
The New Moon is an extra powerful day to do the Law of Abundance. This new moon is especially powerful since the Sun is exalted in Aries and is the sign of beginnings. Take this opportunity to write down your dreams and honor it with a ritual. Take a blank check and date it for April 5, 2019. Print out your name where it says, \”Pay to the order of,\” and then leave the small numeric box blank.
