From the get-go, 2020 has been an unforgettable and historical year! Saturn, Lord Karma, met up with Pluto, the planet of death and transformation, on January 12, 2020. This cycle took place at 22 degrees of the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn, which happens to be ruled by Saturn — one of the key players of the year. We plunged into a new decade with death, rebirth, and permanent change!
Somewhere in all of my articles this year, I mention death, rebirth, transformation, and this historical Capricorn stellium. I would be remiss not to mention it, as this is the key driving force of the year. We will never again experience all of these outer planets in the sign of fate and karma. Can you hear John Lennon singing somewhere? I bet he is.
The South Node of Fate is currently at 3 degrees of Capricorn and recently re-triggered the Solar Eclipse that took place on December 26, 2019 at 4 degrees of Capricorn. This brings more information from the stories that have taken place since December\’s eclipse.
Jupiter, the planet of expansion, abundance, and optimism, entered its fall in Capricorn on December 3, 2019, where it will tour through December 20, 2020. Mars, the planet of ego, purpose, and drive, is currently in its exaltation in Capricorn and setting off all of these points sequentially and setting us all of in the process!
Saturn and Pluto meet up approximately every thirty four to thirty six years; but, they have not met up in Capricorn and the Nodes of fate for over five hundred years. Saturn is in its rulership and demands we each take stock and accountability in a huge way.
Pluto, the planet of transcendence, is just as tough and demands that we empower ourselves and purge the toxic nonsense that blocks our purpose. The two power players met up in the sky at 22 degrees of a Cardinal sign, which means it is at the world axis and impacts all of us. It is critical to remember that it impacts all, and none of of us is exempt when it comes to Karma.
Mars, the planet of action and how we move ahead, met up with Pluto on March 23, 2020 and set off the very degree of the Saturn/Pluto pairing. Through the strife, we have a lot of opportunity to haul forward and thrive. Cardinal energy like this will be rewarded with perseverance and persistence. Do not give up in tough times.
The Spring Equinox recently occurred on March 19, 2020 and ushered in the Spring season and beginning of the Astrological New Year.
The New Moon takes place when the Sun enters the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries and begins the Aries season. This is a time to start new beginnings, start afresh, and shake off the darkness that holds you back.
This week begins with strong energy from Mars, as it kicked up with Pluto in the sky on Monday and rules the New Moon in Aries which has promise for entrepreneurial opportunities. Pluto is the higher Octave of Mars; but, they both can be very cruel when in tandem, so lay low early on and focus on your goals. Pluto and Mars together are war-like aspects, so people will be more irritable and intense early in the week.
We will all feel it, as this cosmic pairing again hits the world axis and therefore impacts all of us. Focus your energy on how you want to transform and heal. The main theme is shedding the pain and trauma to re-emerge stronger and more evolved. Figure how to evolve your own anger and fear.
The New Moon in Aries takes place on March 24, 2020 at 5:28 AM EDT. This is an excellent new moon to start new projects and learn a new skill that helps you move ahead with your goals. Although the beginning is volatile and combative, there is a lot of opportunity to proceed ahead with innovation and enterprise.
Saturn recently entered the fixed Air sign of Aquarius on March 21, 2020 where it will transit through July 2, 2020 and will re-enter on December 17, 2020 and where it be on tour on and off through March of 2023. Saturn is the ancient ruler of Aquarius and represents how we will restructure through new ways of connecting, brilliance, innovation, futuristic thinking, inventiveness, and with unique vision.
Saturn remains in Aquarius until July 2nd for now, but it gives us a glimpse. This is exciting to anticipate, as it will enable us to see how we can innovate our own lives, careers, and areas we want to structure. It represents how we will connect with others and also reevaulate how we have not connected in meaningful ways.
Use this New Moon to write down your intentions and do the Law of Abundance, as this energy is very cardinal and ambitious! We began the week with Venus in its rulership in Taurus forming a beautiful aspect to Neptune, which is the dream and is also the higher octave of Venus. This is spiritual love, and this is highly creative.
The New Moon is conjunct Chiron, The wounded healer, and it emphasizes the need for healing and the ability to do so. The New Moon also sets of the Nodes of fate and brings some critical decisions; but, fated opportunities as well.
The ruler of the New Moon is Mars, which is currently stuck between Pluto and Saturn with Jupiter not far behind. Mars feels frustrated not being able to thrive, as it its talent while in Capricorn. Saturn reminds us that it takes time, but we still will thrive!
Later in the week, the Moon enters its exaltation in Taurus on March 26, 2020 at 9:37 AM EDT. The moon loves being in Taurus and has strong Venusian energy. On March 28th, 2020, Venus forms magical aspects, as it aligns with both Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn.
This brings a lot of abundance, creative thoughts, and prosperity as it aligns with the Grand benefic, Jupiter. It brings transformation and empowerment, as it pairs with Pluto.
There is also very loving, romantic, and compassionate energy so lit up with all of these connections with Venus. Venus forms a magical trine with Jupiter, the planet of abundance and good fortune, on March 28, 2020 at 12:34 AM EDT, but we feel the helpful energy start to build on Thursday when the moon enters Taurus.
Venus then gets a helpful makeover from Pluto on March 23, at 10:57 pm EDT. This energy will be strong all weekend and early in the beginning of next week.
