Supermoon in Virgo: Ground yourself.
Hi, Everyone,
It has been a stormy and incredibly emotional Mercury retrograde this last round. Mercury originally stationed retrograde on February 16, 2020 at 12 degrees of the mutable water sign of Pisces. Mercury rules the mind, perception, communication, transportation, and commerce — among other things. Mercury in Pisces is in its detriment and is very subjective and emotionally based thinking. Mercury retrograde in Pisces is a double whammy. Misinterpretation, delusion, confusion, and paranoia can happen very easily when Mercury is retrograde in Pisces.
The interesting dichotomy is that there are currently a lot of planets in the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn, which is ruled by Saturn. Saturn is the antithesis of Neptune. Saturn symbolizes Karma, responsibility, boundaries, self-discipline, and leadership. Neptune rules the ocean and is boundless. It rules the imagination. Saturn is all about learning through facing one\’s limitations and restrictions. Saturn is about facing reality — like it or not.
Many have dubbed this a historical era of Capricorn. We will never see these many outer planets in Capricorn like this again in our lifetime: The South Node of Fate, where we are meant to release and master the lessons; Mars, the planet of action and movement; Jupiter, the planet of expansion and wisdom; Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth; Saturn, the planet of karmic lessons.
The pairing of Saturn and Pluto on January 12, 2020 at 22 degrees of Capricorn frames the arc of the year. That is an aspect of transition, change, loss, transformation, and renovation on a global level. Venus has recently been in its detriment in the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries and set off Pluto, the planet of domination, on February 28, 2020; as well as Saturn, the planet of challenges, on March 3, 2020. This tests both relationships and finances.
The volatility of the stock market and global fear and concerns over the corona virus are impacting the world. Yet, we have to heed the Capricorn lessons and take ownership of what we can control in our lives financially, professionally, and proceed with a moral compass in how we partner with others.
Keep in mind that all of this Piscean energy can intensify your fear, and it is essential to tap into all of the planets in Earth to keep your bearing in this savage cruise. Later in the year, Mars is going to retrograde on September 9, 2020 at 28 degrees of The Cardinal Fire sign of Aries and trigger where Saturn currently is in the the sky at the 28 degrees of the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn.
When Mars stations direct on November 13, 2020, it stations at 15 degrees of Aries and sets off where Mars currently is at 15 degrees of Capricorn. We pick up in the fall where we started in January when Venus in Capricorn translated the Saturn/Pluto conjunction and to this current period where Venus just set it off in past week. Therefore, do not lose sign of your goals with this Mercury retrograde period. Instead of getting lost in fear, focus on what you want to accomplish. There is a lot more ahead, and you need to be prepared and organized.
It is also important to nourish yourself during this time. So much has happened, and this Pisces season is time to replenish and get rest so that you can take action. Mercury re-entered the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius on March 4, 2020. Mercury is exalted in Aquarius and is in a far more cerebral placement. This helps to give more innovation and is far less emotional. Mercury stations direct on March 9, 2020 at 11:49 pm EST at 28 degrees of Aquarius. The station intensifies the retrograde energy, so it is highly palpable over the weekend.
Venus, the love goddess, entered the fixed Earth sign of Taurus on March 4, 2020, where she will reign through April 3, 2020. Venus is in her domicile in Taurus and is prosperous, fertile, creative, and sensuous in Taurus. That helps with partnerships, as Venus is in a much better placement than in Aries.
We are building up to a Supermoon in Virgo, which occurs on March 9, 2020 at 1:48 pm EST at 19 degrees of Virgo. As we build up over the weekend, The Sun in Pisces approaches Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, which is currently in its domicile. This exaggerates the Neptunian influence and can diminish one\’s vitality and energy. It is a time of great intuition and psychic ability, but the lens is far from clear or objective. The other thing that occurs on March 8, 2020 is that Venus meets up with Uranus, the planet of surprise. This can be volatile with money or relationships; but, it can also be highly charged, inventive, and creative. Expect the unexpected. Expect some very surprising news.
With the Neptune influence so strong in the sky, people can act very irrational. Tap into the higher level of Neptune, which is spirituality, faith, and asceticism. Everyone is feeling these extreme transits on a global level, so be mindful and compassionate towards others and towards yourself during these tenuous but life changing times.
The Supermoon will give us some clarity, as the Moon will oppose the Neptune by just one degree. Neptune can represent secrets and matters that are hidden. With Mercury stationing direct on the day of the Supermoon, secrets can definitely become revealed. A supermoon occurs when the moon\’s orbit is closest to the Earth at the same time it is full. The Full moon is a time of fruition and release. This Full Moon has Cancer rising, and it forms an aspect of opportunity to this Supermoon.
The Sun and Neptune are closely conjunct in the ninth house of faith, optimism, hope, and wisdom. It is time to tap into your faith and have something to believe in to get you through this Capricorn trip. Venus and Uranus are at the top of the chart in the house of life goals and form a positive aspect to the Nodes of fate, which says that there are tools available through our creativity and imagination to help us. There are resources and connections that will help.
Jupiter, the grand benefic, forms a trine to the Full Moon, which helps to magnetize good luck and lends support. There are seven points in Earth, which gives us a lot of grounding energy to this Full Moon. Release the fear. Virgo is a sign of health and routine. Focus on your self routines and regimens. Some will feel off the charts with The Supermoon so potent and opposite Neptune, the planet of fantasy. Be kind to those that seems unhinged, as some will inevitably feel lost at the helm. Keep yourself afloat and recognize there is great support around us.
