Hi, Everyone,

The month of January has been full speed ahead with no planets in retrograde. That is extremely strong energy for obtaining goals and moving ahead in 2018. We began the year and the month with a Full Moon in Cancer, which infused an emotional and nurturing tone to the beginning of 2018. The interesting dichotomy is that this is a year that is all about getting real, tangible, and solid.

We vacillate between heavy emotions with Jupiter in Scorpio and harsh reality with Saturn in Capricorn. Saturn, the planet of karma and responsibility, has only recently entered the sign of Cancer on December 19, 2017. Yet, many I know, have already begun to rake their minds and souls — analyzing their past choices for achievements and life goals since Saturn hit at end of December.

Saturn in Capricorn demands that each of us gets real with issues that are unresolved. Saturn in Capricorn anchors your goals, but it demands brutal self honesty if you are going to achieve your best. If a relationship is not working, your career is at an impasse, or there is something within yourself or your life that you are neglecting, these issues will become close to unavoidable in 2018. It is time to figure out what works, and what does not work. Anchor what is real in your life to carve a new path.

As we began the month and the year with a Full moon in Cancer, we complete the month with a far more intense Full Moon Eclipse in Leo. This is also a Blue Moon, as it is the second Full Moon in January. There will be no Full moons during the month of February, which seems to be quite alright. The Blue moon will pass through the Earth\’s shadow on January 31, 2018, and the Eclipse occurs at 8:27 AM EST at 12 degrees of Leo.

This Supermoon Eclipse at 12 degrees of Leo is such a big deal, and it is very palpable! A Blue Moon (second Full moon in same month), Supermoon, and Total Eclipse all concur on January 31, 2018. Although 2018 is the time to get real, this is a highly emotional and creative combination! The Supermoon occurs when the full moon coincides with the moon\’s closest approach to Earth in its orbit. The moon appears brighter and closer.

A total Lunar eclipse takes place when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon and covers the Moon with its shadow. Lunar Eclipses invoke a lot of changes, and we will continue to see a lot of action and change unfold throughout the middle/end of February and into March. Remember — Eclipses are revealing and make us see things!

Look back to what was  happening in your life on November 3, 2013 when there was a Solar Eclipse at 12 degrees of Scorpio. Some issues could surface now that occurred at that time. Perhaps things you were reconciling or starting then are now coming to fruition or taking another form. Look back to the Full Moon Eclipse on August 7, 2017, which was at 15 degrees of Aquarius, and which was also at the world axis. Some issues or projects that you were dealing with then might reach culmination now.

We defer back to the story in early August, and this time the North Node is at the world axis, i.e., it is close to 15 degrees of Leo. The North Node in Leo wants you to pursue your heart path and do what you love. The Full Moon Eclipse is a time of fruition, completion, and release. It is a North Node Eclipse, in that the Full moon is at 12 degrees of Leo and is conjunct the North node of Destiny. The North Node is at 14 degrees of Leo and close to the world axis, which means we are feeling the cosmic call to follow our heart! Leo rules the heart; Aquarius rules the intellect. Right now, you should go more for the heart\’s path.

Lunar Eclipses tend to be more about endings, although the fact that this is a North Node Eclipse means that a lot of beginnings are emerging as a result. We go towards the North Node, and we are meant to release that impacted by the South Node. Venus, the planet of love, value, and how you earn money, is now in Aquarius. Venus met up with the South Node on January 29, 2018. They are at the world axis, which means a lot of high profile endings and breakups in the news. When planets or angles are at the world axis, it affects people in the limelight; but, we also see things unfold on a much greater scale.

This Eclipse has not even occurred yet; however, I spoke with three clients in the past few days who already have received big announcements at work about changes and endings at the workplace. This Full Moon Eclipse falls in the 6th house of work and health. The South Node met up with Venus on Monday and will inevitably bring BIG break-ups, people quitting, and stepping down from positions. The Sun proceeds to meet up with the South Node in Aquarius on February 3, 2018, and there will be even more endings and release; as well as more information provided about these changes occurring.

If something ends this week, it is likely for your own good so that you can start a new heart path. The North Node in Leo says to follow your heart. The releases are jarring and emotional with this heavy lunar energy, but it is also to put you in the right direction.

Remember that Saturn is still very much in Capricorn and urges you to take a naked look at what really works in your life. Eclipses make you see things in a way that you have never seen them before, and they can bring unexpected and shocking events. Maybe you thought this situation was good for you, and it actually only blocks what you really want in your life.

Eclipses always come in pairs, and as we build up to this potent Full Moon Eclipse on January 31, 2018, bear in mind that there is a Partial Solar Eclipse at 27 degrees of Aquarius on February 15, 2018. The Solar Eclipse on February 15, 2018 packs a punch and defers back to the Great American Eclipse on August 21, 2017.

As we get further into February, the focus is more on the intellect, brainstorming, ingenuity, expansiveness, limitlessness, awakening, and consciousness. It is all about creating a new passage through genius and vision. For the immediate, honor the emotions and feel with your heart. There is plenty to think about this month ahead! There is also plenty to release, as the Solar Eclipse brings a beginning with it; but, it is also a South Node Eclipse, and it will also entail release. Let go and listen to your heart.
